Not something I'd usually get for a dog, but we had a harsh winter and i picked it up free on a 4 for 3 deal. Dog seemed unimpressed, but it did seem to make a difference. The wife thinks I'm crazy for getting this for a dog though...

We have a small shih-tzu mix, and these clippers worked great. Our dog is very laid-back, which is a good thing because it took us a long time the first time we groomed him. The clippers were pretty quiet and did not seem to heat up even after 30 minutes or so of almost constant use. Unfortunately, the instructional DVD did not work very well - it kept skipping. I have yet to contact Wahl to get a replacement... I would recommend these clippers.

I can't believe it took me so long to get this tool to remove matts. It is also a great tool for thinning the coat in those matt prone areas, which prevents the problem in the first place....Only issue I have is that it is not made out of stainless steel, so if you get the "teeth" wet they rust almost immediately. Don't use these on a wet dog and don't wash them as you will find that hand drying them is impossible without getting sliced up.

This product soaps up really well and my dog seems to enjoy it being on him. I soap his body up to his neck really well and then rinse. I apply again and let it sit while I do his face and head. That takes care of the 5 minutes it is suppose to stay on. Also, his coat is really silky and shiny after he dries. It seems to last for a few days before I do it again.

I have a "miniature" pomeranian that mysteriously wound up "midsized" with a ridiculous undercoat. It's a major 2 hour ordeal to get him really close with my Oster Gold clippers. Doesn't take long before it starts pulling more than cutting cleanly. I dunk it in the blade wash, let it buzz a minute and wipe it off. Give it a spray of cool lube and it's back to razor sharp. A must have as far as I'm concerned.

I love this towel. I think it's the best ever. I like them so much I have two. Especially when your dog comes in the house in the morning from being outside and there paws are wet. I think it's really convenient. I really like the spots for your hands because when my dog is fighting me because she doesn't want her feet dried. I have trouble holding her paw in the towel. With this towel I can hold on to her paws and still dry them. I haven't used it to dry my dogs after a bath so I can't review it for that. But to use it for just drying your dog's feet it's wonderful.

We have been told by groomers our dog is no longer welcome because he is unmanageable. Unfortunately his hair is such that he gets mats and collects redwood tree branches. We tried smaller clippers and they just got stuck in his thick hair. I though I was doomed to cut his hair by hand and even then, getting the clumps under his belly was impossible. These things did the trick, I was able to cut everything off even that sensitive belly area. Knowing what I know now, I would have bought them years ago and saved the money and embarrassment. I highly recommend them to anyone in the same situation.
