These are almost as good as everyone says they are! They keep food fresh, do not attract bugs and my siberian husky can not get into them. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because when I stacked them both with 40 lb bags of food inside, the bottom ones lid would not go on. I tried for awhile thinking the product was faulty but when I unstacked them, no problem with the lid. I am sure with less food they would stack just fine! Well worth the price!

My sister's cat was in the habit of pushing her separate water and food bowls around the kitchen and living room.... spilling a lot in the process. I have the regular-sized version of the Store-N-Feed, and recommended the Jr size to my sister. At the very least, she could put something heavy in the storage area to weigh it down, so it wouldn't be so easy for her cat to push it around. Turns out, simply having this Junior feeder solved the problem of the bowl scooting. Something about its size or weight, I don't know which, but the cat doesn't want to scoot it around. My sister is very happy she purchased this feeder, and bought another for her new kitten.

This is a great addition for those day trips - when you just need a enough food for a couple of meals. It's easier to carry than many and keeps the food fresh and clean. There are 2 bowls - one for the food and one for water. The bowl is a little small for water - dogs tend to scatter the water when they drink from a smaller bowl - but it's perfect for a day or two.

I bought this in 2003 and the model I have has proven to be very sturdy. In this time, have had to change the batteries only 4 times and have it set to open once a day. From reading other reviews, it seems the older one I have must be more sturdy - it would need to be turned on its' side for my cats to pry the top off since the lid post "locks" in place. I've had a few problems with it fully opening when the batteries are low and the recording is a bit tinny but my cats respond to it. Someone mentioned it being set on military time but it can be set on either (read directions). It's easy to clean, easy to fill, and bowls are wide enough for a medium-large dog to access -- a German Shepherd or Rottie might destroy it when hungry! I give it an 8 out of 10 rating.

Great product. Very durable, worked great for my Rottweiler. Just had a German Shepherd die in the family from bloating. After doing online research, the latest studies actually show that using elevated bowls INCREASES the chances of bloating. Make sure that you look into that type of information. Bloating happens very fast, and does not take long to kill your dog.

My cats seem to like it. I like it because the bowl size helps my son not overfeed them. I do wish one bowl was a little deeper than the others for water though. Overall, it's pretty and matches just about any decor. Glad I got it.

The first few days they were afraid of it, but they got used to it. We add water every few days to avoid the gurgling noise it makes when water is running low (we do not have the "reservoir"). Every once in a while I like to give the motor a rest, so I shut off the fountain. It does not have an on/off button so you have to unplug it. We replace filter every few months (relatively inexpensive purchase). And we clean out the mechanism every couple of weeks with a bottle brush. I was excited because this bowl was made of plastic, we had one of the metal ones and it started rusting. Like other reviewers have said the hose connection is awful. After trying 3 different hoses, I've chucked this bowl in the trash.
