Didn't work very well for me because the plastic clip isn't very strong, and would fall off. Would probably work better on one's jeans, but it gets cold here, and I had hooked it on my jacket pocket.

I read about the benefits of cat fountains and used this one for a full year of my life, struggling with it every week. The parts are complicated and do not disassemble easily. There are 2 large parts that need to be unscrewed from one another, and one in particular gets sort of jammed when the water creates a seal in it and then very difficult to unscrew. I kept thinking how someone with arthritis or who was elderly or just not very strong could never use this thing. I thought that there must be more user-friendly ones out there, and I am so grateful to find out that there are! I decided to try the Drinkwell Platinum fountain out to see if I could make this any easier. I wish I had done this a year ago. I buy various kinds of hay for my bunny, mix it all up and store it in this tall and slim container that conveniently fits in myriad places. I love that I can open it with one hand (it's hinged on one side) since I'm usually carrying something else at feeding time.... sometimes Bunneh himself! ;) I'm considering buying more of these in various sizes. You can ALWAYS find something to store in them.

I originally need only one set for my large german shephard so that he would not have to bend over so far. I ended up ordering three different sizes based on my three dogs eating habits. Two out of three were made very well and one was a little defective but it still worked. The stainless steel bowls keep their water cool and they have been drinking more of it. So overall my dogs are quite pleased with the purchase and therefore so am I.

I purchased two of these to replace the older version I have had for about 10 years...the new ones look nicer and don't show the dirt like the older white ones did....I just hope they hold up as well as the older ones did.... great shipping by the way!!!! This feeder is not only practical but it is also very nice to look at. The drawer for the food is spacious and even our smart german shepherd hasn't figured out how to open it. I highly recommend it.

VERY DISAPPOINTED....We had one of these dog food bins about 10 years ago (same manufacturer) and it was great.. they have obviously cheapened the entire product, the trap door won't stay shut and the dog food falls out the minute you fill it.. we ended up putting a door latch on the trap door to hold it shut because unfortunately we realized that it was a cheap setup AFTER we mounted it to the wall..

I purchased this water bowl for use at the dog park. It seems fairly sturdy and has a nice squat shape that would be hard for a dog to accidentally knock over. It also holds a pretty good amount of water. I wish the blue cap were easier to screw on. It usually takes me several tries because it seems to want to cross thread. The main issue I have, though, is that the blue cap fills with less than an inch of water under normal operation. The water level rises significantly when I apply pressure to the other end of the container using my foot. Once I release the pressure, the water level falls back down. This is a wonderful item for dogs who "Woof" their food down. They have to take their time and eat in a more sedate manner or have to work to get their food.
