I was desperate for a container to store dog food. I love the skinniness of this bin, but 1- the scoop is too small (love that it stores in the lid) 2- not quite the quality I expect from Rubbermaid 3- it does not hold a whole 30 lb. bag of dog food. But it works. You can't have everything you want. or at least I can't.

OK, pet bowls might not be sexy but this one rocks. It's go a rubber base so it doesn't slide around and the base is solid feeling. The stainless steel dish comes out easily for filling or cleaning. It's all simple, clean and well designed. I bought the blue one for water and the black for food. Very clever! The medium size bowl is perfect for our cocker spaniel (23 lbs) but I'd go bigger for anything larger. The small bowls could be good for cats.

We use ours to feed 2 meals a day so it lasts 2 1/2 days. Our cat paws at the dish and can get the lid to move backwards but as he eats everything in one meal there is nothing left for him to eat in previous meals. Then the lid springs back into place awaiting the next feeding. It takes a little practice to reset the timer correctly if you aren't feeding 1 meal daily for 5 days so you really need to make sure you rest the timer correctly or you can reset the meals but the timer won't feed until it catches up 3 days later and you have one hungry cat. But overally it has worked over very well.

This is a great little cat dish. I love that it has cork pads on the bottom so it doesn't slide around and it won't scratch the table it sits on (we have to keep the cat food away from the dogs!). The ceramic is nice an heavy so it doesn't seem like it will break easily, either. I have an 18 mo old daughter and I think if she dropped it, it wouldn't shatter into a million pieces.

I love this toy the only problem is that sometimes they don't continue to breathe and yes, I put new batteries in as I am much older then 13. Overall this is a toy of joy and comfort and I love it!

I use this to custom mix and store large amounts of cat food for my 5 cats (soon to be 6). It is truly air-tight and I think it could stand up to anything. If you have a huge dog who gets into food this would easily stand up to any abuse. I bet a bear could not get into this if I stored my bird seed outside. Highly recommended.
