I owned an Our Pets feeder for 10 years, very sturdy and durable. The dishes sat in the station and it got nasty in there. This new Signature series makes more sense and is attractive as well. Easy to assemble and clean and looks nice. I have two of the black ones for my two dogs. I am thrilled, and Amazon had the cheapest prices of any website I visited. Thanks so much.

I have been waiting for this bowl to come out in a metal version, as I don't want my dog eating out of plastic. Well worth the wait. The size is perfect for my 113lb dog. I feed him 1.5 cups of food, twice a day, and it fits in nicely. I am going to order a second one for my 65 lbs dog. I like that it slides around a little bit, further slowing the eating process. What normally takes less than a minute for my dog to eat now takes quite a few minutes. I am pleasantly surprised that it slowed his eating down as much as it did. Easy to clean. I hand wash b/c it is coated in Teflon and I don't want the D/W chipping it off. Well worth the investment. It really does slow my dog down from eating too fast. PS. But the product is much sturdier than the Blitz Pour N Stor which I used to own - and the top of that device is difficult to close as well, but only when the bin is full and it changes shape because the plastic is thin.

The product performs as advertised. The problem is related to the size of your dog. I have a small dog and the height adjustment doesn't allow for the water dog to be low enough for my dog. An adjustment that allows the entire water dog to pivot or tip would make this product perform better for small or short dogs.
