This is a great product. My dog & cat love having fresh water available all the time. It has a good capacity too. It has a very quiet motor except when it needs to be cleaned. It sounds like a water feature in the house when it is turned up high.

I use Petmate Fresh Flow filters, but have to change them more often than the recommended month, because I have three cats. I'm sure they last longer for only one pet. They can also be removed, after turning off the water filter, and rinsed well then re-inserted. I do this sometimes when I don't have time to change the filter and clean the water fountain, but I clean and change it as close to once a week as possible. Again, with only one pet, this probably wouldn't be necessary.

these work great! my cats love their water again and drink more of it, too. texas water is hard and tasteless; this at least makes the water palatable and drinkable. the only gripe i have about them is that now that i have a drinkwell, the filters are hard as hell to find locally. now i have to go on the internet to find them. the best part of finding them on the internet? well, that has to be that they are actually cheaper!!

I bought this with my fountain, and am kind of disappointed with the largest brush. It has very stiff bristles, and does not have enough on the tip to do a thorough job of cleaning the tank or bowl. The smaller brushes do a good job, but I think that some pipe cleaners would do just as good, and a baby bottle brush would be far superior to the large brush. I say save your money on this pack of brushes.

I thought this would be the perfect solution for my sink drinkers. They do now drink out of this fountain. The best feature of this is the quiet motor, you can hardly hear it when more than a few feet away. the problem is that the motor starts to grind as soon as the water level goes down, which in our house is every day. So i find myself filling it all the time. You also have to have filters on hand. And it gets grimy quickly. I have several animals, so maybe if you have only one or two, it would not be as much of an issue. all in all, not a bad product, but could use a little improvement.

I bought this a few years ago for my two cats. My cats liked it first, especially because they like to drink straight from the stream. But, it was impossible for me to get it really cleaned. No matter how hard I tried, even using the cleaning kit that was sold separately, I couldn't clean that narrow well and little square corners thoroughly, resulting built up of debris. A year later, my cats stopped drinking any water came out of the drinkwell even right after the half-an-hour of cleaning. I cannot deal with cleaning this thing anymore. Never to purchase ever again! Now I use the dorm fountain by catit. I can tell my cats misses drinking from the stream, but it is a lot easier for me to clean. The dorm fountain has its flows, but, it is a workable solution for both me and my cats.

I set this feeder up to try before leaving town. I froze ice packs & set for 12 hour feeding. It started rotating 12 hours later, then reversed 2 slots, then reversed again, & kept going back & forth non-stop. I finally just turned it off. When I took it apart to remove battery the ice packs were already melted & warm. I'm glad I tested before leaving town because I would have come home to a dead cat.

I didn't know that I would really love these containers so much!!! My dog & cat food is no longer laying around the kitchen on the floor or in a kitchen chair getting spilled & stale. I have had no problem with the wheels falling off or anything. They are very well made products & I'm so glad that I have made my life a little easier & cleaner getting 1 for my dog's food & 1 for my cat's food!!!!
