We love the product and find it very easy to use. However, the company that processed our order sent us an email saying the gate was on the way when it was not. They called several days later to tell us the email was sent to meet Amazon requirements regarding shipping times. But, the product would not be shipped for another week to 10 days. UUGGHHH! Not very cool. However, the product did finally arrive. It is in good condition and works well.

wish we had found out about this pen earlier. We love the fact that we can move this pen anywhere in our house. The pen is very sturdy and flexible at the same time. Our shih tzu thinks he has moved into the White House compared to his crate.

Wow -- wish we had looked into this kind of gate earlier. Stable (no falling over) & attractive with flexible expansion to cover larger areas. Great!

I bought this gate when I had my son, who is now 3. It just broke this week, and I'm buying it again, for my daughter who's 1. This gate is great for the price. The clear panels let you see what's going on on the other side. There is nothing for little ones to use to climb. And I find it pretty easy to move from the top of the stairs to the bottom during the day.

The ramp works just fine but the no-skid covering put on top of the ramp is cheap and tears very easily. My golden scratched, and ripped it immediately with his nails.

The latch doesn't overlap the gate by much so it doesn't secure well. The extensions are a pain to install and just as much so to take apart to return the pieces. Avoid the headache and don't buy this product.

No.... not that kind of backwards.... I mean mix the directions around. Instead of connecting the two pieces of the gate together leave them separate until the very end. Make sure and MEASURE THE OPENING FIRST to make sure the final gate will fit. Then use the templates, install the hardware into the walls (dont forget to put the locks in on the unlatching side so the gate swings the correct way), put the plastic corner pieces on the gate so you can attach it to the hardware(dont tighten the slides all the way). Now all you have left are the 2 upper and 2 bottom parts that lock the two gate pieces together. You didnt tighten the gate slides yet did you... great... then swing both sides of the gate to the closed position and adjust the slides until the gate matches up. Install the upper and ... We bought this to prevent our 1-year-old from "exploring" the gas fireplace. We purchased one extra insert to fit the space, and the thing works beautifully. It's sturdy, the slots are close enough together that one can't fit their hands too far through them, and the closing mechanism is hard for even an adult to open/close. The only thing we didn't use are the bolts that attach the extreme edges to the walls.

This item is great for my dogs, even though its not very high you can adjust it to sit higher depending how high you mount it. My dog LOVES to chew onit, probably not the best thing. The one thing I HATED was the I hooks that are included are WAAY to short, they barely make it through drywall. I had to run to lowes and get replacements after the first ones ripped out of the wall.
