Great for extending the space between the interior and exterior parts of a cat door. Though I was told 2 sections would work, you'll actually need 3 if you're going through drywall, studs, osb and vinyl siding. If you cut out the siding you could get away with two. I don't want the edging around the door though.

i tried out a lot of gates for top of the stairs.this gate worked the best.it was easy to install,and the best part is the angle mount was great.i didnt even know that both ends of the top of the stairs was not even until i tried this gate.my toddler is tall 34 inches at 18 months! and this gate is tall enough for her.It is not possible for her to open the gate and she tried a lot and gave up. i would recomend this gate to anyone .just one con it is very difficult to open with one hand carrying a child in the other.i have to put her down hold the catch away and then open it.

It takes a bit of expertice to install this door and program it correctly. Than the cat must learn to use it first without a collar magnet and then one set to be selective. All of that took me about a month but now that all is set properly and our cat has learned how to use it we are pleased with it.

I purchased this gate to keep my two exploring cats out of my newborn's room. The gate installed quite easily into the door way in less the 10 minutes, with no tools needed. It works extremely well for the nursery because the gate opens 180 degrees, 90 in either direction, so it is easy to use while hold my daughter. The gate has a handle (which can be clearly seen in the stock photo) that makes opening and closing the gate a breeze. The only problem that I have had with this gate is that the handle has popped apart on me a few times in the short period I have owned the gate. It was a simple fix of removing 3 screws and popping everything back together, so I added a couple of drops of super glue to hold it tight. It seems to have done the trick, but it was still annoying.
