We used this clear plastic netting to cover our indoor stair rails that have too much space in-between each post. It has worked well at keeping our baby/ toddler and children from dangling their limbs or falling from high heights. This product is made from somewhat stiff material and I do not recommend it if your rail is not straight. If it is slanted, the netting will not protect as well because there will be triangle-shaped open spaces at the bottom. The plastic bands included for securing the netting to the rail is not great. It does the job but I would have liked this product even better if the netting had finished edges and a more attractive and practical way of securing to the rail.

This cat flap is basically well constructed and seems durable. However, there was no effort in providing an air barrier between the inside / outside of the house. There is a substancial air gap around the flap which will let a LOT of air flow around the opening. Perhaps I was expecting too much, but my hope was to have an actual air barrier.

First off, this product shipped from Target and they shipped the wrong color. Amazon handled the exchange well but it was an inconvenience. Second the installation instructions are not that clear. I had to use the spacers thinking that they should be directly across from one another. This is not the case as the latch catches are not on center, so when the gate is closed it is not parallel with the wall. Its not that noticable, but if you install it yourself, you are reminded of it every time you see it. The other thing is that I had to cut a board to mount the hinge side to my stair railing. The height of the gate is a lot shorter than a normal railing, so if you don't have square ballisters, plan on an additional piece you will need to make for a good installation. Overall the gate ... We bought two of these gates after reading the 2007 Consumer Reports Baby Products review. The KIDCO Gateway G11 received a 74% which was the highest rating for its class. The gate works well for us and I would recommend it, I have followed Consumer Reports for all of my baby purchases and have yet to be disappointed.

The Mobile pen 640 was delivered on time and easy to put together. It looks great in any room of my home. It is used for my pomeranian that weighs 4.5 lbs.. I use it for when she is left alone and when I can not supervise her so she stays safe. Love the pen 640. I also purchased the larger model for my larger pom and Richell makes an excellent indoor pen on wheels that looks great and is easy to move around your home. Great service!!!! Thank you and five paws up!!!!!

we purchased 4 permanent mounting gates for our new home because they were the only permanent gates we could find that were 48 inches. after mounting one and nearly screaming over how difficult it was and tearing up our brand new walls and woodwork, we decided to try to find pressure mounted gates that were walk throughs. that proved difficult again because of our 48 in openings. we finally found these gates and with the extensions, they work great. they mount very securely and are easy enough for us but hard for our 14 month old. we have even had a man whose wife runs a daycare where we got them because he liked the gates too! we really like these gates a lot.

I have had one of these installed for several years. I got the cat one first, and when it quit working a few years later, I installed the bigger doggie version. My pets can get in, but neighborhood pets can't. It uses a 9 volt battery, which seems to last for about a year. The pets don't mind wearing the magnets on their collars. I keep mine set so that they can get in, but can't get back out. They will sometimes paw at it trying to get out and they knock the battery compartment door off. Intermittently the magnet does not engage the locking mechanism - I think the solenoid may be a bit flaky. Overall, this door is well worth the expense of buying and installing, even with the intermittent flakyness.

Our little dog would come inside and head straight for the bedroom carpet. The gate solved the problem. With its sturdy, but easy to add extentsions, we had no difficulty creating a custom fit for the archway opening into the bedroom hall. The dog has the run of the tiled portion of the house. The cat gate stays open giving the cats have the run of the entire house. Everyone appears happy: people, cats, dog. One of the really nice aspects of this gate is its easy lever opening. It is a nice, neutral looking product, can be made to fit odd sized openings, and it is easy to install.
