The trainer itself is working fine, but wanted to alert folks, and Amazon.com that the "Better together" batteries are NOT the right ones. The small dog unit shipped to me uses 2 3V CR2032s, but I was sent 2 pre-packaged 6V RFA-67s (PetSafe's part number) which are obviously for some other unit.

We put this gate between the kitchen and living room to keep our new puppies confined in the kitchen. This gate is sturdy and was easy to put together. It also came with extensions. I also like that it is tall. When my hands are full it is easy to just reach down a litle to open it.

It is great for a very short amount of time. It was helpful when my daughter was crawling, and kept her in her own space. I was able to block off an entire room with it. But when she was about 17 months, she realized how easy it was to rip off the "breathable" gate, because it is only attached with velcro. It is very frusterating, that we spent so much on it, and went to the great extent of installing it and re arranging our house, for it to work only a few short months. I wouldn't really reccommend anything with velcro!!

The collar does its job well ONLY if you refill daily and have the collar on at the precise, magical tightness so that it fires when the dog actually barks. And the batteries die. Other than that, it's pretty good. :)

This thing is great. It's cheap, it rolls smoothly (on hard flooring), the lid requires little torque to open and close (no threads to unscrew, old people or children can open it with ease) but it's air tight and great. If you have children that will try to get into the container and eat the contents, you have bigger problems. I don't think just buying a childproof container is going to keep your kids out of trouble.
