My 14 year old cat suddenly started limping and when I took her to the vet she was diagnosed with patellar luxation (her kneecaps don't stay in place) and arthritis. Cosequin for Cats was prescribed and worked wonders! It did take a while (2 or 3 months I think) but her limp disappeared almost all the time and her activity level increased. Dosage starts with a "loading dose" for about 4-6 weeks I think and then is lowered to a maintenance dose. After a year or 2 the limp returned and she spent most of her time in the same spot all day so at the vet's instruction we re-loaded her w/the Cosequin and this time after only a few weeks she's back to normal! And the icing on the cake is that Amazon's price is half what my vet charges!

This is an awesome supplement for preventative care for large and small dogs! My parents have a King Doberman/Shepard Mix (80lbs) who was born with Hip Dysplasia (spell check) and instead of putting him down their Veternarian prescribed this supplement. 13 yrs later he has lived a normal life with absolutely no pain. My own dog (Rotty / Retriever Mix) is now 14 1/2 yrs old and has been on Synova G3 since he was 7. We get compliments all the time for his agility and actually looks like he's only 4 yrs old! Love this supplement -- but purchase it through Amazon.com. It's almost double in cost (120 ct) if you buy it through your vet!!

This is a great product. Easy to install and sturdy. Very practical and easy to use. No complaints. It also looks nice and functions well. For the price this has to be one of the best gates out there.

I have nearly worn out the battery testing this little device. I cover many routes and have tested this device over 1000 times (easily). It has worked tail-tucking-excellent on only 4 dogs. It will stop about 50% of all dogs from barking for a few seconds. And about 30% of dogs from barking as long as I hold the button. The panel interface is counter intuitive and the instruction is hideous BUT it works well once you set up. Their instruction tends to explain what would happen before telling us what to do.
