I have three of these pens and after a few uses the plastic connectors broke. I wrote to the company "General Cage" and their customer service told me they import them and don't carry any parts, so too bad. Well I am out $300.00 and I hope no one else makes the same mistake I did.

Update - The manufacturer shipped a replacement panel for $30. I then went to the local hardware store and picked up some chicken wire to make sure Bogey doesn't remodel again. Our 9 lb Papillon with a bum front leg made short work of this crate after about 2 months of use. I guess once he figure out the plastic was easy to get at, he got after it. He's not a chewer and he's been crate trained since we got him 3 years ago. They really need some cross bars to prevent this sort of thing. It's a nice looking crate but it obviously is flawed. I was pleased that my cage was sent fairly quickly. I was a little concerned about the cage itself because it was bent in a couple places so it made it harder to secure it properly, but I needed it too bad to send it back. Oh well it is working for me.

The Firstrax 19-inch carrier is well constructed but if you have a dog or cat weighing much over 12 lbs. or so you might want to get something larger. It might as well have been a sardine can as far as my 17 lb. cat was concerned. Not gonna work.
