This is a very high-quality crate. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is that it is very heavy. I wish the door could be taken off and changed to open right-to-left. Other than that, it's perfect! I would purchase another.

Love the cage. We bought it to put our Chinchilla in when we have to evacuate in the camper. The other cage is too big. This one just the right size. His big exercise wheel fits in it perfectly too. Setting it up is a breeze and so is taking it back down. Stores flat. I do wish that it would have an optional solid bottom so the Chinchilla's feet wouldn't be in danger of getting caught in the bars. We put cardboard as a temporary bottom inside the cage to prevent this.

My recently adopted 55-pound Boxer mix figured out how to escape from this crate after two times in it. We tried using a little lock to keep the door closed because we didn't want to toss it out after spending so much. The lock kept the door closed, but continuing to use this product was a big mistake--the handle in the top of the kennel broke and my dog's head got scratched up. I would not recommend this product to anyone whose dog shows any interest in escaping since it probably won't hold up. What a disappointment--the reason we got the kennel in the first place was to keep our dog safe when we're gone.
