This is a great harness and is so easy to put on your cat -- just slip the smaller loop (the one without the buckle) over your cat's head, and then clasp the other loop behind their front legs/around their tummy. The flat plastic connector (the thing in the middle that looks like a black Pringle chip) sits on top of their shoulderblades. Besides being fully adjustable, which is awesome, the best feature of this harness is the swiveling ring -- so your leash never gets tangled or twisted, no matter which way your cat might turn. Bought this "tape" leash about a month ago to replace previous "cord" type leash. Pros: smooth, quiet operation compared to the cord type. Feels very durable and sturdy for my 22lbs jrt(very energetic little dog) Cons: a little heavy, and I wish the opening for the leash could be further away from the handle for better balance. Overall it's a satisfactory purchase.

I let my 2 cats out into our yard, so I was concerned about their getting caught on shrubbery. I can assure you the breakaway feature works: one cat lost his collar on Day 2, the other lost his after a month. The collar colors are the same as our leaves and grass, so I couldn't see them. I even went out at night to look for them since they glow in the dark. No luck, but I will buy them again at cheaper internet prices.

I was really surprised at the brightness of this light. Now it's not like a spotlight or anything, but I expected it to be pretty dim with the led lights. There are 6 lights on it, and they create a pretty good light. The light extends past the 25 feet of Haley's retractable leash. I did aim it a little too low, so I have to angle the handle up into the air when the leash gets extended all the way. The light is a little bulky and may get in the way for some people, but I haven't had a problem yet. It velcros on, so you can remove it when needed. I leave it on so that the velcro doesn't pick up fuzz, dirt, lint, etc., causing it to lose its effectiveness at sticking. I don't need the light very often, but it does come in handy for those times when it is needed.

I received this leather leash for our new puppy and was quite pleased with the quality of it. It was very reasonably priced but is quite supple and the grain is very smooth. I felt it was a surprisingly good value compared to what I had seen in B&M pet stores.

Yep, totally agree with the other reviews about dogs with short legs, the second my corgi saw a squirrel, she was out of it. It's too bad, because in the about 30 seconds before she figured out how to get out of it, it really did work.
