We wanted to get a new tree for our cats quickly after we moved to a new place. Our cats prefer to scratch on sisal and most of the trees in the brick & mortar shops we checked had either wood or carpeted posts. This tree has all sisal posts in two different lengths. The surfaces are covered in a soft material and not rough carpet like the ones we saw in the stores. This is just the tree we were looking for.

I'm very happy with the cat condo. It arrived quickly, with no damage and with all the parts. It's very simple to put together and is very sturdy. The only thing is, I don't have a cat. I needed something for a rabbit that likes to climb. I needed something as safe and simple as possible. The rabbit loves it! It keeps her off the dining table. I definitely recommend it.

It arrived quickly and undamaged and was easy to assemble (use commone sense and you'll be OK with assembly). There were two things I did after a few days, though. I put two concrete patio bricks (the very large ones) and placed them on the bottom .. my cat is large and he doesn't climb up from the bottom he slams into it about midway with full force and I was afraid it would tip over. I also spray the entire thing down with Fabreze, frequently, because there's an odor of glue or something in the carpeting and/or sissal and it needs to be toned down a little with the Fabreze. This thing is the perfect diversion from the furniture, table and countertops because the top platform (the penthouse, I call it) is over 6 feet from the floor .. he thinks he's king of the beasts sitting up there. ... AWESOME PLACE FOR KITTY TO HANG OUT. SHE CAN SCRATCH HER WAY UP OR USE THE LADDER. THERE'S TONS OF SPACE FOR SLEEPING AND THE MOUSE ON TOP SURE IS A CHALLENGE. IT'S WELL MADE AND STURDY.

I am very glad I went with this product. Anything I have seen in the pet store that is comparible has been selling for nearly double of what I paid for this. I feel the design is superior as well, by using sisal rope on all posts. It seems like the sisal rope really does a better job at imitating tree bark and allows the cat to dig his claws into it and climb it like a real tree. And of course, it is the best scratching post material out there. The drawback is the stability, though we are not too worried about our cat. He can shake the tree a little, but we doubt he can ever knock the unit over. Since we have it against the wall, the worst he can do it make a little racket. Because it has no carpet and only a thin fleece to cover it, they don't go crazy swinging from it like some of my other condos. The twine covered posts make it a scratcher in theory only; they much prefer real carpeting for the claws. The price was perfect and I found the diagram and kit easy to put together. Took me less than an hour and the cats were very involved in the process.

I have a little siberian in a New York City apartment who needs to get away from my 3 year old and six year old sons once in a while. She LOVES her cozy climber. I've pushed the awning back so she can get all the way to the top, (there is a hole leading there) and that's where she chooses to take her cat naps. She climbs through for fun all of the time, and we suprise her with treats and cat toys on the shelves. A must have in a small apartment. Well worth the investment, although I do admit to a bit of trepidation when I first took it out of the box. It is not small. We can still get through the door though, and we really needed a place for cat to hang out. I would buy it again
