This tree has not got enough area for the cats to climb comfortably from one level to the next. The fleece material that the platforms are covered with is very cheesy. The price is a good bargain, but I would rather pay more and get a better quality product. It is also somewhat wobbly on it's base. Not what I expected, so I am disappointed with the purchase. We will beef it up and add features ourselves to make it more fun for our cat.

My kitten really loves this tree condo. Although we had to manipulate it to be used as two separate pieces instead of as only one piece. The top platform sits directly above the "house" which makes jumping up on it difficult since the cat is sitting directly under it. However, we disconnected the top part and placed it on the floor (using the platform as the base and the scratching post sticking up) My kitten now has two pieces of furniture to play with. He hides and sleeps in the house in one room and will run over and scratch on the post that I placed in the other room. So all in all, this does work out for us. Our only loss is that we do not have the height that I was looking for when I purchased this tree condo since I had to take the top piece off to make it usable.

My cat loves this thing. It's not necessarily the sturdiest item in the world, but it suits my cat's needs just fine.

My kitten LOVES her new condo. Sturdy, easy to assemble and a perfect size. I recommend not giving kitty the yarn toy that comes with it. My cat destroyed both of them very quickly and I had to keep pulling the yarn pieces out of her mouth so she wouldn't choke. I attached a more indestructible cat toy to the elastic and she loves it. My cat always sleeps in the little tunnel on the top. Over all a great purchase!

In my opinion I do not recommend this item. The item is top heavy, has too small a base and thus unstable. It is heavy too. It is poorly engineered and the taller versions will topple. For certain, furniture it hits is in danger to say nothing of the animal. It simply wasn't designed to support a ten pound animal hitting the platforms at an angle. It will scare you when it goes over, and the animal too. Considering the expense, and the fact if it wobbles, sags, or topples the animal will never use it again, I suggest that you stay away from these until they reengineer. I bought it based on the amazon reviews and I am a bit disappointed by it. My cats did not use it at all the first month. After a while, the kitten started sleeping on the highest tower. My problem with it, is that it is not stable. My big cat is used to jumping from the floor onto the highest branch and you cannot really do this with this structure. It is very wobbly and I would not purchase it again. I will just keep it for a while, though, because they tend to like it when it comes to just using it as a bed/house. But this is definitely not good for active cats that love to play and want to use it as a cat gym. It's exactly what I hoped. The quality is great for the price and even tho it is put together with Velcro, it is very strong. My only complaint is that the hole for the cat to enter is a bit small... about 6" in diameter. My cat was afraid to go in it! Had to stuff treats in it and he's still a little weary of it.

I have had mine for 1 year now. The "tower" looks just like it did after assembly with the exception of a couple places my cat especially likes for scratching. It was very easy to put together, the directions were very clear. I love the faux fur because it is very easy to vacuum and get hair off. This "tower" will be around for many years yet and my cat absolutely loves it.
