I've had this cat condo for over 3 years now and it looks just as good as the day I put it together. I have 4 very active Burmese cats and they absolutely love this thing. Mine also has sisal rope wrapped around the ladder rungs so it's very sturdy for those claws. My cats love to just claw their way up the posts instead of jumping to the top level. This is great exercise for indoor cats. Sometimes they just fall asleep on the perches. They love it because it's so tall and they can sit up higher than those pesky humans and just look down on them! I have another different brand in the hallway also with sisal rope. That's the best thing to get if you want to keep those claws away from your furniture. I'm getting ready to order another one from Armarkat for my screened in porch.
