This really worked. We tried the brands available in supermarkets and pet stores, but they had little or no effect. Our vet told us that those dosages are too low. She also said that we could purchase the product cheaper online than through her. After taking the higher dose for the recommended time, our nine-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, who couldn't make it up the stairs at night, was back chasing birds and squirrels, and jumping up trying to "kiss" visitors (have to take the good with the bad). We lowered her to the maintenance dose, and most of the time she does fine. However, after her neighborhood friend comes around, with whom she could literally play on and off all day, she still gets stiff by the evening and we have to up the dose for a couple of days. Don't waste your money on stuff that doesn't work. THIS STUFF WORKS!! I have two indoor-only, Persian cats who's ears get a nasty dark brown wax buildup if it's not cleaned out weekly - they go crazy trying to dig at the wax - making their ears bleed and tearing the hair out around their necks. I took them to the vet thinking it was ear mites. (It wasn't. Persians and a lot of other 'smash-faced' animals are prone to excessive snot, ear wax, and tears.) He gave me the Epi-Otic to use and it works like a dream. A few drops in the ear canal, massage and wipe out the ear with a cotton ball. Done and Done. My cats are MUCH happier

We bought this toy for my Siberian Husky last Christmas and I never could have imagined how much she would love it. Out of her large variety of toys (that continues to expand), she ALWAYS grabs this one. Most importantly, Hide A Squirrel is very durable. The tree trunk has lost a leaf or two over the last 6 months which is not a big deal, but as rough as she is with her toys, the squirrels have held up surprisingly well.

We love this product. It does exactly what it's suppose to without any problems at all. Now that it's fall and the leaves are falling I just walk by and dump it once a day. It fills up on it's own and life is good!

The toy's long tail provides something to swing it with, and my cat seems to like it better than her other cat toys (except the water bottle lids that she plays soccer with). It doesn't seem to be something she wants to play with on her own (if you are worried about providing entertainment to bored kitties during the work day), but she enjoys it best about bedtime with me providing the locomotion.

Had this cup been larger, it would have received a better rating. This served its purpose for the most part, but required refilling too often to be completely effective.

My cats love these-I have 3! I have one outside, in a utility rm, for our mildly, wild outside cat. She gets in it during the winter. One cat inside sleeps in it everyday, all day, and likes the heat it puts out, even in the summer! The covers are easy to take off and wash. It was a worth the money buy! julrobs

I have owned the SSScat system for about a year now, and it really works. The only downside is the price of the spray cans!! I have found that buying the 6-pak is the cheapest route. I think that the spray heads do not fit tight on the cans, and in time, the gas leaks out. Quality could be lacking on the spray heads.
