The collar does its job well ONLY if you refill daily and have the collar on at the precise, magical tightness so that it fires when the dog actually barks. And the batteries die. Other than that, it's pretty good. :)

Our 2 puppies got it this year and, as far as I can tell, they are bug-free so far. I can't say whether this is because of Frontline or because there are no fleas in surroundings but, until evidence to the contrary emerges, I will give Frontline the credit. The makers claim that Frontline Plus kills all fleas and prevents re-infestation for up to one month. For 'paralysis tick' protection, bi-weekly application is recommended but results are not guaranteed. The product comes in a number of 'pipettes' that contain an oily-sticky liquid that is applied on the back of the dog's neck's, on the skin (must part the coat until the skin is visible). This product actually worked!! I am so shocked! My cat had no reactions to it (bad of course) It was a pain to get him to take the tablet though.. I tried breaking it up and putting it in Tuna, Cat food, shoving it in his mouth.. Nothing worked LOL. He FINALLY ate the tuna after I took away his other food... So that is my suggestion.. Take away their other food.. then break up in powder (no pieces at all) & mix in wet food or tuna.. something like that. I was told (online) this stuff tastes Nasty so they dont like it. But if they are hungry they will eat it!!

This gate works great once installed. I like the wide range of gate widths without any extender pieces. There are a couple of things to watch out for during mounting though. The template they give you for the hinge side specifies a distance from the floor, but if you have moldings the flange on the latch side will determine how close to the floor it can go. The other thing that got me was the sag in the gate when extended. I'd recommend mounting the bottom bracket on both sides first, then see where the upper brackets want to go.

My dog is 11 years old and has a bad back. He is a VERY picky eater. He LOVES these treats and asks for them if we forget to give him one. (Which is seldom because he is so spoiled) There is a bit more of a perk in his step since we've discovered this product. The cost here on Amazon is fantastic too because the stores have been charging me $7.99 a bag. (NYC prices yikes)
