Pill pockets are wonderful for giving dogs their daily medicines, especially distasteful ones. I have tried everything from cheese and meat to coating pills with soft dog treats, but pill pockets are the best! They are flexible and easy to get around a pill. I buy the large ones and can use one pill pocket to coat the medications for 4 dogs. And my dogs love them and don't know they are getting pills or medications at all. If your dog is finicky, then give a tiny piece of pill pocket, followed quickly by the coated pill, followed by a tiny piece of pill pocket, along with excited treat comments, and the dog will just swallow and not chew, thus not knowing they just took their pill. Great for old dogs on daily distasteful glucosamine pills.

This rating is more about Amazon's advertisment, then the crate itself. This is a good crate. It's solid, sturdy, and very easy to put together! It's a great size for small/medium dogs. I realize that dimensions are given in the description, however the pictures listed are a bit deceiving. In the "alternative view" pictures, they show a full grown Golden Retriever comfortably standing up inside of this crate. No way. This crate is NOT big enough for a dog of that size to stand fully upright in.

Standard poodles have a problem with tartar on their teeth, and ours is no different. This product keeps her from having to have her teeth professionally cleaned too often (to be avoided due to the necessity for anesthesia). My guess is that if we brushed her teeth every day plus gave her the dentahex chews, she wouldn't need professional cleaning. However, she doesn't like having her teeth brushed even though she likes the taste of the toothpaste. So it takes both my husband and me to do it -- he holds her jaw open, and I brush. Most people tell me that their dogs willingly open their mouths to get their teeth brushed; unfortunately ours doesn't.

Have bought this in store before. Cat loves this product! She eats, licks, and rolls around in it whenever I provide her a pinch. If your cat gets "high" off catnip, this should work for them too! (FYI, catnip is from the mint family. Note, cats over 3 months old will be receptive to the effects of catnip ONLY IF they are genetically predisposed. Half of all cats will feel no effects from catnip at all.)

So far we love this product. Some of the reviews have me a little worried that it won't last forever but it has literally been a lifesaver for our cat. She has always been very territorial to the point of always staying in the room when anyone is around and hissing and swatting at people who try to touch her or get too close. The deal with these kinds of bags, with a small amount of cornstarch added, is apparently that the small amount of biodegradable material causes the bag to fall apart in time. But only in the right conditions, which don't necessarily exist in the landfill. They would fall apart into tiny particles of polypropylene, and they may leave behind a toxic residue if they do fall apart, from the additives in the bags. The high density polypropylene that's 95% of the bag is what plastic bags are usually made of. It's probably better to use Biobags or Flushadoo. These bags might be more durable because than those alternatives because of the synthetic ingredients.

I have three cats and two of them hate the drops that prevent fleas, running and hiding when it's applied or when they smell it. Then they try to lick it off themselves and each other. Program seemed like the solution, but they start scratching fleas again about two weeks after taking the pill. I also have tried the mix-with-food Program liquid, but the two drop-hating cats won't eat enough food at one time to consume all of it and won't finish the food later either, so it isn't effective. My veterinarian doesn't carry Program pills and his assistant said it was because they hadn't been effective. I order flea remedies on line anyway because they cost less than at the vet's office, but even the drops seem less effective after a time. The vet's assistant recommended alternating two brands ... This is a great stuffed toy for dogs who tend to get a little over zealous with stuffed toys. I have all three of Fat Cat's 'Yanker' toys (Aligator, Snake and Fish) and they are pretty indestructable. My corgi loves to play with stuffed toys, but he also loves to rip them apart. Most average toys are gutted and destroyed within the first day of play-These will last for sometimes several months and some (like the snake) will last for years. My corgi adores these, as he can play to his heart's content, and the fish is by far his favorite. Yes, sometimes a dog can catch a seam in the right way and pop a little of it open, usually about an inch or two, they can be repaired, but it really will only stay you off until you can find a replacement.This is why I can't give the toy a five star rating.
