I got two of these, one for the Dane and one for the boxer. It is definitely big enough for the Dane (which I was a little worried about as she is closer to the 130-140 lb mark). I was very happy with the beds until we washed them as directed at the laundromat. They simply fell apart. The seams came loose and all the stuffing is now on my floor. Both beds are ruined and once again I am on the search for affordable bedding for two large dogs:(

I read the reviews in hopes this product would be what I needed. Let me begin by saying the seller was excellent. That was the only thing that was. The appearance is fine. The implementation was one of the worst I have ever used. What anyone except someone who maybe bought this one only would think this piece of junk was any good is beyond me. The part that makes this pretty much trash is the way it attaches to your windowsill. The ones I purchased previously were displayed as this was with the top showing but when you get it out of the package there are brackets that attach to the seat. I bought this to use in a crate, and it is perfect! It isn't thick enough to be used on any cold surfaces, such as cement or anything, but for the plastic bottom of my crate inside the house it is just right. It's really soft and cute!

For the price that these stairs are you would expect a furniture grade product. These are so poorly made and bad quality it's not even funny. The wood has dings, nicks and cracks and has been sprayed with a 'cherry finish' to hide the poor quality. You have to assemble them which is fine if the pieces fit together properly but the joints are lose and flop around. The stairs come with a bunch of glue that you are supposed to used to 'weld' the stairs together and keep them from collapsing. This is one of the worst products I've bought in a long time and I can't wait to send them back to Amazon!
