The "beating heart" never worked. Seriously. We never got it to beat. Not even once. I only gave it two stars because the stuffed animal is the perfect shape to stick in the corner of our dog's kennel. He loves snuggling up with it.

It is really thin, so a folded towel works just as well. My dog took a bite out of it the first night and decided it must be a toy when she found that there was stuffing inside. So, for me it was a waste of money.

Fluffy and fairly silly-looking, this is not your plaid dogbed for the labrador retriever. It is like a big pink marshmallow of padding which encircles your tiny canine darling like a rosebud. Who knows what dogs actually see in terms of color and foofiness, however. My very butch male teacup Yorkshire Terrier lifted his leg on it when it was first presented and the bigger dog of our household likes to overhang it. I think the Yorkie knows it is pink or something. Anyway I am happy with the value, one cannot expect the picky recipient to just embrace a gift mommy chose for cuteness reasons!

I purchased this mat at the same time I bought a crate for my puppy. The size was perfect for the crate, but I was disappointed that mat was so thin. It provided no cushion for the bottom of her crate, or warmth for that matter. After a few washings it started to show wear. It didn't last long, about 3 months, and I have since switched to an old blanket. My dog seems to like that a lot better.

I bought this for my Samoyed to help her arthritis. It worked great. It makes an awkward crinkle sound when she gets on it but you get used to it. It also fits great in the washer, then you can either place it on the line to dry or put it on air in the dryer for a while. With longer hair dogs like mine it will gather pet hair but that comes off pretty well with a few shakes outside or a roll of duct tape for times when she really sheds. As if the dog wasn't enjoying it enough, the cat takes his turn and loves it too. Some days they fight over who gets to use it. Overall I would recommend this for anyone with a cat or dog. It reflects their body heat naturally and there are no wires or chords to play with and it can be totally submerged in the washer. Yeah for washable pet bedding!

I purchased the Snoouncezy Sleeper for the bottom of my dog's metal cage. It is more of a mat than a bed because it is not very thick and padded. I think that it is a great buy if you are trying to find something to go on the bottom of a cage. It is very soft and has a nice slip resistant bottom.
