My dogs used it over the summer, and so far, no leaks. Definitely seems tougher than the other brand I tried a few years ago, which leaked within a year. Living in Arizona, I kept my home thermostat higher this past summer to save on my electric bill. I'm sure my two dogs appreciated the pad, and I will probably buy another so they each have their own.

This bed is not quite as cushioned as the photograph may lead people to believe. I may have to open the inner pillow and stuff in a bit more polyfil in order to make it more comfortable for my pooch. The filling spreads and leaves the dog's elbows and knees on the hard floor and as a result she's not interested sleeping on it. Other than being understuffed, it's quite large if that's what you need- at 52'' diameter, it could accommodate a Dane, large Rottweiler, or other Mastiff-type dog (or just leave a lot of room for your smaller pup to spread out). The description lists this item as machine-washable- the care tag is quite a bit more specific- requiring owners use a front-loading commercial washer to wash the outer cover. This well made, cozy cat bed arrived very quickly from Petco. After it was unpacked, I couldn't wait to see how my cat would react to it. As it turned out, he was a lot less enthusiastic about the Play Pen than me. I think the main issue was size. Tiger is an average size cat with an average cat attitude. The bed was just too small. He will gladly squeeze himself into a tiny box, yet had no desire to curl up in the bed. I wish I was small enough to use it. It looks like the coziest, warmest place I could imagine for a nap or an all night snooze. But alas, my opinion is not what counts here, so I am reluctantly returning the Lazy Pet Purrific Play Pen.

We bought this for our cat to find a warm place during the day when no one is at home, and because she is a little overweight we preferred this over conventional kitty homes. It is a bit flimsy, not too sturdy, and covered with dog paws but it is warm and nice. At first it took a lot of coaxing, treats and catnip to get her interested though. But now she enjoys sleeping in her little house.

We bought this little bed for our tiny t-cup poodle (5lbs). As soon as I set the bed down my little one climbed into the bed and layed down. She loved it. Most of the time when shopping for new dog beds (when our 70lb hound rips the one she has to shreds) she is too small for them and she gets up and walks away. This bed was the perfect size and she likes to sleep with her head under the pillow... why I don't know but what-ever makes her happy.

I purchased this same kennel pad from PetSmart at a more expensive price. When ordering through Amazon I thought I was getting the same pad that I previously purchased. When these pads arrived they were the same size, color, however, they were not of the same material which was a disappointment. The pad that I purchased from PetSmart was a chenelle type fabric...VERY SOFT!! The kennel pads that I purchased through Amazon was a rough synthetic material that I was disappointed with. This is a wonderful addition to any kennel but I just wish it would have been the same type of material as the first I purchased through PetSmart.

The first thing my ferrit did was unzip the zippers....had I known he would do that I would have bought him a hammock. They would do better to leave off the zippers.
