This is our kitty's favorite stuffed toy. She loves it better than her catnip mice, better than her plastic jingly ball, better than her crinkly fish. It has a velcro closure on its tummy, where you can insert one (or both) of the catnip teabags it comes with. Kitty chomps down on the squirrel, trots around with it, and then tosses it up into the air and snares it with her front paws. She'll even fetch it if we throw it into the next room. The funniest thing is that, when she's done attacking it, she'll flop on the ground and serenely groom its fur and bushy tail with her tongue. So, we've decided to call it -- in the vein of Primp & Polish Barbie -- Kill & Groom Squirrel!

I bought this product to occupy my 13-month-old mix. She is an aggressive chewer, but the product description led me to believe that this toy was quite tough. When I received it, I was a little disheartened when I saw that the tug was rubber, rather than rope (as it appears in the picture)- as she tends to get through rubber toys with very little effort. Nevertheless, I decided to try it out, she learned quickly that she could get treats out of it and it occupied her very well for almost an hour. At that point I went to dig it out from under the bed and was dismayed to find that the rubber "pull" was already in pieces. I wish I can say that it did but this toy suffered at the jaws of my dog. Within ten minutes there was a rip in it. I've been meaning to sew it just to salvage my $ but I'm just too lazy.

I received this today and the new kittens haven't stopped playing with it! They love it. The ball keeps them active as they chase it, and the scratch pad is good for working out their claws and AVOIDING damage to my furniture. I only wish the vendor would have allowed me to choose a color rather than just get whatever color they decide to send. However, that is more for a vendor review and not the product review. The product itself is great. And cheap!

We have always used the scratching pads without the Turbo frame. The cats use the pads many times every day, rushing up and really getting their backs into it. Eventually the pad gets used up, worn away until only a small cob remains. Then the cats carry the remnant around or use it for their cat volleyball games. The shreds do make a little mess but compared to their exuberant joy with this item, cleaning up is a very minor chore. There is no guarantee that providing this outlet will save your furniture, but our three guys have shown little interest in scratching anything else since we started buying these pads.

I used this as a sensory item in a special school for the disabled. The kids loved it.

This was a great toy for a dog. My dog enjoyed it so much and it lasted a long time in my dogs standards. It is worth the buy if looking for a good dog toy.

I got one for my Mom's dog. She is a one year old Boxer. She absolutely loved it. She carried it everywhere. Every time anyone would come over. She would put it in their lap and show it off. But she destroyed it in a week or two. So I bought her another one for Christmas and I also purchased another one for my father-in-law's dog.
