A very good little tool here, and the blades don't cut the fur which is nice. The blades may look intimidating but they are really very soft. My two cats like being bruished with it very much, but won't tolerate it for too long of a period so I have to do it little by litte. In the litte chunks of time I do brush them, a lot of fur comes out! Just a warning, I suggest you do this outside. I experienced quite a 'furricane' when I used it the first time.

Buy a larger size than you think you'll need. I bought the Jumbo for a two-dog (one small, one large) household and wished that it came in a larger size. It required refilling every day or so. Other than that no real complaints. Reading the mostly positive reviews here leads me to believe that this product can have a long life. I haven't owned it long enough to form an opinion. The first unit I purchased experienced pump failure within a week and was exchanged for another, which did not fail. Maybe the pump is the potential weak point.... There doesn't appear to be another, better product on the market, so go with the Petmate!

I have three cats that are always treated with Frontline and have been for several years. This order of Frontiline apparently was not effective, perhaps even too old to be sold. We applied it to our indoor cat as well as the two that go outside. A week after applying, I was pulling two ticks from my kitty's ears. They were attached to his ears and it wasn't easy to remove them. This particular order of Frontline did NOT work.

This is a great value. My dog's vet charges the same amount for half the doses. My pooch has zero fleas using this product.

It gets a 3 star because I'm not sure that it is working all that well. It's been 3 weeks and I have not really seen any changes to the filter. The water flows passively through the system, but there is no force pushing the water through the filter per se. So I'm not completely sure it is filtering, rather than just taking the path of least resistance around the filter. but cats are still drinking the water (albeit a bit less than initially) and still prefer it to fresh water in a bowl even after 3 weeks.

In as much as this collar does what it is supposed to, that is, it sprays citronella when the dog barks, I gave it three stars. However, it hasn't really taught my dog anything about barking. When he wears the collar it does encourage him to bark less but as soon as the collar is off he barks as much as ever. I was hoping it would eventually help teach my dog not to bark even when not wearing it but that doesn't seem to be happening.
