I used $90 in Amazon gift certs to buy this doghouse, and I only spent .19 cents on it, after taxes. I shipped for free. I wish I'd never bought this doghouse! While it IS adorable, it is a waste of money! It it VERY flimsy. The plastic panels are very thin and wobbly. It was NOT easy to put together by oneself! The bottom 2 panels, the floor, are so thin and the tabs on them are very small, very thin, and very breakable! The whole house snaps together, but you really need 2 people to assemble it. I finally got it all together, and put the door flaps on. They are held on by wingnuts that do NOT screw on, but stay on with force. (However, it says in the instructions NOT to force them on!!) Overall a good doghouse, a little flimsier than I would like, but OK. Easy to put together with no tools, and easy to clean with the removable lid. My dog has chewed up the edges around the door opening, so I doused the edges with hot sauce to put and end to that.

I am on the second one of these for my 8 year old Pyr... He is BIG, weighs about 145lbs... AND loves this dog house. The first held up for a few years for having such a LARGE dog in it! I couldn't be happier, NOW I have 3 NEW ones, two Large for my 2 Pyrs and a Medium for my Aussie! GREAT buy for the price! The raised floor is GREAT! EASY to put together. WORTH the price!

While it is missing insulation, the construction is very high quality...and will provide shelter from wind and moisture. I am very pleased with the overall construction, the attractive design, and the ease of assembly. The house looks even better than the photo. It went together extremely quickly - took no more than 10 minutes. The instructions were very straight-forward and easy to understand. The unit was packaged very well from the factory...with the hardware pieces arranged and laid out in a way very easy to identify/understand. This item was handled efficiently and was received in good order, except for the cap nuts; four were missing and any attempt to request them thru Amazon was a waste of time. They claim "others have complained of this and didn't get results in having the cap nuts replaced, so you may return the item and get a full refund". This is extremely inefficient management on the part of the merchant that Amazon received the item from AND from Amazon. M.G.Roe

This is a good quality kennel, but the chain link fence was knotted so badly that it took an hour to get it to a usable condition. Also, the wire connectors that tie the fence to the poles weren't nearly long enough, making the process more difficult than it had to be. They should have been at least an inch or two longer. I am satisfied with the finished product, but putting it together was very tedious, even for the experienced handy man. Consider spending the extra cash for moduled fencing. Looking back, we wished we would have done so.
