These are a great coat refresher if your dog fits in a teacup. My dog, a fattish Norwegian Elkhound, could eat the small dog AND the teacup, and look around for seconds. I can't quite figure out how to use these wipes, since they're so small. If your dog is larger than a shi tzu, you'll use a quarter of the container's contents to give your dog a "waterless bath." You might think these are good for a quick butt wipe after the dog goes outside; they would be, but not at this price. I use unscented baby wipes, the generic kind, from the supermarket. They work great, they're an excellent size, and they are CHEAP (which is a good plan if your dog goes as much as mine does. You can go through a lotta wipes that way!) The wipes work fine. They do seem to make my dog smell better for a bit. But...the container sucks. It is a must to put them into a large zip lock bag or they will dry out. I hate products like this. Charge me an extra buck and make the container out of better material. Cheap. But the wipes themselves do seem to mask not eliminate dog odor. I think you could probably get by with using baby wipes.

These wipes are very handy, and perfect for my dog, who was allergic to another brand I tried. We keep them right by the back door so we can use them when he comes in from the yard, which is esp. muddy right now(end of winter). They don't leave a soapy residue or strong odor. We're very happy with them.

Although these are in a container, they dried out very easily. I would use a ziplock bag next time for an extra seal.
