This brush is very small and not too stiff. Maybe it is meant for cats ??

I have five pomeranians which get brushed often so I got four of these brushes when they were on sale. They lasted about a month before the pins started to break off. I now have one left and it's doing the same thing. The annoying part is the tiny pins get lost in the carpet easy! They are usually found when they are stepped on. The handle is great for all the brushing though!

Cleans easily, but my older cat does not enjoy brushing like on the commercial. When she does tolerate brushing, this makes the most use of time for hair removal.

I can't believe it took me so long to get this tool to remove matts. It is also a great tool for thinning the coat in those matt prone areas, which prevents the problem in the first place....Only issue I have is that it is not made out of stainless steel, so if you get the "teeth" wet they rust almost immediately. Don't use these on a wet dog and don't wash them as you will find that hand drying them is impossible without getting sliced up.

I purchased this since other husky owners liked it. I am very happy with the results. It really takes care the the undercoat. Now my girl is looking pretty again.

Super Cat Accessory! All 4 of my cats love this, sometimes they sit and scratch for literally 10 minutes, run through the arch, or give it a quick rub when walking by. The bristles are a little stiff, and they DO chew on it, but it looks like it massages their gums and teeth (bonus!). I read a bunch of reviews of other grooming gloves before I chose this one and, having tried it, I'm glad I did -- I agree with the other reviewers that it works quite well. It is well-constructed and seems like it will last for a long time. I have a short-haired cat and a long-haired cat. It works best on my short-hair -- the Love Glove gets a LOT of hair off of him, almost more than a brush does. But it's also helpful to use on my long-haired kitty after brushing in order to pick up all the loose hairs that the brush leaves behind. I was doubtful when I first opened the package, but everyone of my cats starts purring instantly when I pet them with the glove on. And it works better for getting rid of excess hair than any brush I've tried. I'm so happy with it that I'm about to order a second one so that I can always have one handy if the other is in the wash. I highly recommend it.
