Don't bother with Life's Abundance dog food. I was swayed by all the glowing reviews that I researched. Here are the cold hard facts I experienced. 1.) My dogs didn't like the food. 2.) One of my dogs had an allergic food reaction to the chow which resulted in expensive vet treatment. 3.) The satisfaction guarantee and free sample have yet to be seen. 4.) Good luck getting off their mailing list. 5.) The auto-ship process is a real pain to extract yourself from. 6.) Food is expensive. 7.) You pay shipping each time. I was disappointed and I'm still waiting to receive refund after a month. Take your money elsewhere; your dog, wallet and headache will appreciate you for it.

It is very hard for me to review dog food. My dogs will eat anything so the fact they gobble it down means little. I can say the smell of the food seems good compared to other dry food. I bought it for the ingredients and based on other reviews. I will continue to purchase it because it seems to be the right thing to do for my dogs.

We have been feeding this to our dogs for over a year. Over the past few months, we have had a problem with the cases of Grammy's Pot Pie cans. Some cans were full of chunks of fat and a thick lard-like gravy with no veggies, and some cases were fine with chicken and veggies,etc. What happened to truth in labeling? We also had the problem with the cans being only half-full sometimes. Our dogs were getting bad diarhea from the fat in the food so we had to stop giving them Merrick. They need to start testing their food again. It used to be great. Look at the old reviews from last year and before.

I am not quite sure why they sell this without instructions. OK, it says how much water a package is dissolved in. But I just got a butterfly feeder and don't want to prepare the whole package ... I think that this might be nice to give as a present with the butterfly feeder, just to make it special ... I personally make my own butterfly nectar now (4 parts water to 1 part granulated sugar. Boil the solution for several minutes until sugar is dissolved, and then let cool. )

I am the type of person who agonizes over the health of my 6 cats (ranging from a senior of 9 yrs old to a weaning kitten of just 6 weeks) I work with cats a lot and this food is fantastic! It has so many benefits! 1. my cats love it and even my pickiest kitty loved the dry and the canned food - this picky kitty won't even touch tuna straight from a can so I was especially happy! 2. It is for all stages of cats which solved my dilemma of needing Senior, Adult and Kitten foods. I loved this since I had been contemplating cooking for them or switching them to a raw diet after years of being disatisfied with cat food choices out there! 3.
