I love it, but the cardinals love it more. So nice to look out the plate glass windows (tinted so the birds don't see us) and watch the Male and Female cardinals have a feast! Great find for me because I love to bird watch, and the feeder can be placed where all our CATS don't get to the feeder or the birds, and NO squirrels. Yes. Enjoy. I highly recommend this product...!!

I bought this for my grandmother who is homebound and loves birds. We plan to put it up in the spring, the only thing I am worried about is the directions say to mount the house way up close to the eaves; and the black-out piece (so the birds can't see you) also means you can't see the birds, unless you move the blackout plastic aside. I had imagined that it would just be like a tinted window. So those two factors may make it hard for my grandmother to enjoy, but I figure if it doesn't work for her, my two year old daughter will enjoy it.

I had purchased the same type of bracket for my deck at Lowe's. THen they stopped carrying it and I needed two more. I use them to hang Boston Ferns from my deck. This does the trick, it's identical to the ones I had purchased at Lowe's. I've had the Lowe's ones for 4 years and no rust. These do the trick

The item arrived without any written instructions.When I figured out how the (included) clamp would attach to the pole I realized that, after installation, the baffle would slide down a few inches- maybe enough for a squirrel to bypass. I decided to use a hard rubber gasket instead. This "retainer" can be pushed all the way up the neck of the baffle- with NO slippage and no sqirrels. Works fine!
