Brilliant! It does everything a dog tag does, except... you need a computer to read it. Stores all the information that's in a microchip, except... can be removed by someone who doesn't want your dog to be found. By combining the worst features of both, this item won the Rube Goldberg Gratuitous Use of Technology Award for 2007. Okay, to be fair, this is useful if you move on a regular basis and don't want to buy new tags all the time. For those who fall under that category, I hope you both enjoy it.

I got this light for my 25 lb. dog and it works great. It has an easy clasp that I can snap on and off him with one hand and it's not too heavy for him. I can also angle the light to make it shine straight ahead or the ground in front of him. I angle it down because others have said the light is really bright! Batteries are not included (it takes 2 AAA) and at $20 it's a little too expensive. High quality flashlights and bike lights with halogen are similarly priced and this doesn't even have different settings (blinking, etc), it's just on or off. Also, the plastic backing has a cheap feel and is not waterproof like other lights in this price range. Otherwise, a very nice light.

Both my trainer and my vet recommend this product. I have had good luck with this product with both a 62-lb retriever and an 18-lb beagle. I need them to walk quietly by my side as I am training them to hopefully be therapy dogs. This device helps me bring their attention back to me. They don't like it, because I'm now in charge, not them, but it doesn't hurt them. They would rather go chase after the squirrel, but now they can't pull me with them when they catch the scent. I wouldn't be able to walk them with out this as I'm only 5'3 and would have a hard time controlling one of my dogs much less both of them at once. I have a very energetic Jack Russell. His energy was not the problem, his hunting instincts were! I have tried numerous products and numerous training techniques. No other collar (various harnesses and a pinch collar) have been close to deterring his pulling. This collar is the only collar that has made him focus on me during walking! This collar practically self corrects my dog. When he pulls, the leash tightens, and forces his nose back toward me. Also, for the first time ever, he does not bark at people or other dogs as we walk. This was the best investment ever. I actually want to walk him.

I recently purchased The Illusion Collar by Cesar Millan. The Illusion Collar and Leash Set By Cesar Millan: BLACK and MEDIUM Size What a difference this collar makes when walking my 83lb Standard Poodle. I have tried every piece of equipment from harnesses to head collars and in the Illusion Collar I've finally found something that really works, and it even comes with a leash. Excellent price point IMHO. I purchased a size med as suggest for my specific breed. I do wish that I had sized up to a large as the top collar doesn't quite have the adjustment that I would like. I will say that my poodle is on the heavy side. Walking is now an enjoyable experience for me as well as my poodle, Miss Diva. I'm delighted that I found The Illusion Collar on Amazon. com

HI,There are 2 things to know about this product. 1. This item is for WHITE lights even though it is not stated in the advertisement. I was disappointeed that they were not red when I got them in the mail. I will let you know how customer service responds to my inquery about this. 2. You need to PRESS and HOLD for 30 seconds (or more) to get them out of "tester mode". Otherwise they will not stay lit for more than a couple minutes.

A pretty collar for a special dog but a little on the heavy side. I've toyed with keeping it or sending it back but think I'll hang onto it and try it when my dog is a little bigger. Right now it just seems too bulky for a 6 month old goldendoodle puppy. Other than that, the built-in leash is a very nice feature.
