This is a well constructed product. Although a little large for our dog (a Cocker), it serves us well for the purpose we needed it for. Recommend highly.

I purchased this for a cat. We needed to keep her closed in at nights. It is nice and roomy for her. It took her about 5 days to get used to it. The crate went together fairly easy. It is sturdy. Being able to fold it up is one of the best features. I saved about $40 versus buying it at a local pet store.

The design is poor, very difficult to fold and unfold. Construction is shoddy with ill fitting parts. The cheap plastic handles easily break. However, the wire crate is what it is--if you must buy it don't buy it with the thought in mind to frequently break it down and set it up again.

I have had other dog crates in the past but this one is far from the normal. The plastic tray is not cheap it is a sturdy durable tray that slides out easy and is easy to clean. The crate folds up and assembles easier then other crates that I have had and the door is fitted and closes and latches perfectly. Once the crate is folded it has another set of latches to keep it closed to make moving and storage of the crate easy. No matter what size you get do yourself a favor and purchase this brand. For the money there isn't anything on the market any better..

This rating is more about Amazon's advertisment, then the crate itself. This is a good crate. It's solid, sturdy, and very easy to put together! It's a great size for small/medium dogs. I realize that dimensions are given in the description, however the pictures listed are a bit deceiving. In the "alternative view" pictures, they show a full grown Golden Retriever comfortably standing up inside of this crate. No way. This crate is NOT big enough for a dog of that size to stand fully upright in.

You get exactly what the product description says you will get. It is a sturdy product and pretty easy to set up. You'll need to wiggle and push some bars into place for the initial set up but once everything is in, the crate is good. The handlebars up top make it easy to move around. It is a bit heavy, but if it were any lighter, the integrity of the crate would probably be compromised. I like how my dog is able to see in all directions. Being able to see his surroundings helps him to feel more calm and comfortable. At night, I drape a sheet over part of the crate to create that "cave-like" feel that helps him feel cozy and sleep well. Overall, I would recommend this product.

I am so pleased with the dog crate. It was everything you described and much nicer than I expected. Since we have a Newfoundland puppy, we will need all of the extra space this crate provides. Set up was easy and it is very sturdy. Thanks so much again for offering this product. JoAnne

My German Shorthaired Pointer outgrew her old crate, so I over compenstated and got her a bigger crate. She is very happy. The product is sturdy and easy to unfold. When the product was delivered there was a corner broken on pan. I made one phone call to Midwest Life-Stages and they quickly replaced the pan. The customer service representative for Life-Stages was friendly and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience.

When I purchased this cage I was looking for value and quality and thought I had chosen the appropriate one. It "fits" my dog size-wise, but it's not as sturdy as I'd like. There is no grate or flip-up guard across the front to keep the floor pan in place. I've come home day after day to find she's scooted the pan completely out of the cage leaving herself sitting on the carpet and wire floor. There are two hooks on the bottom front on the INSIDE of the cage that could be dangerous for eyes, paws. At first I thought they must be used somehow to anchor the pan, but after much looking and figuring I couldn't see how that could be done so I took them off. I could not believe the price of this crate. It was so inexpensive and functions so well! We have had this crate for over six months now and no problems! We bought it for our chihuahua and it is spacious for her but small enough to fit in our bedroom without getting in the way. We love it! It also folds down so easily for storage or transportation. Super easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner and pull out tray can be tossed into the dishwasher if needed!
