Sturdy yet lightweight and easy to use. Can set it up in seconds and from its construction will last many years. The ramp is skid resistant so the dogs have an easy time going up and down without slipping. Both dogs were on it at the same time adding up to close to 300 pounds and it supported the weight with no problem. One minor problem is if your not careful you can pinch your fingers in the hinge end as it can fold quickly as I found out.

Since we have 1 large (Newfoundland) dog who has some trouble with elbow arthritis and a Subaru Outback Wagon that has a fairly high rear bumper, we felt a ramp could be quite helpful for him and us. This ramp has proven its utility by being sturdy, and skid resistant, but at 25+ pounds it's rather heavy. It's obviously not nearly as heavy as lifting our unwieldy dog, though. It also takes up a fair amount of space in the rear area or the back seat (seats up). It does seem quite durable and has a latch to keep it from unfolding when ready to store. All things considered, I would buy it again unless I found a lighter/smaller version that could tolerate a 120+ pound dog as easily.

well i was hoping to use this for honda element tailgate and our two bulldogs. with this configuration, the ramp is a little too steep. the bullies scraped up the blue skid resistant material on the first go round, too. probably would work great for lower dimensions. btw, the bulldog in the picture is poorly photoshoped.

I bought this for my 10 year old, 80 lb dog who is arthritic and diabetic. I have a Mazda hatchback; without a ramp it is very difficult for her to haul herself up into the back seat. I gave this ramp four stars but that is only for the product & the company itself (ie construction, perceived durability, quick shipping, etc...) NOT for the usefullness of the product, at least in my car, which is not an SUV or particularly high. I give it two stars for usefullness and ease of use. The ribbed surface has good traction and the construction seems good. This ramp is too short to be used to climb into the hatchback. The angle is too steep and there is no "lip" to secure it. But, the ramp is too wide to fit in the rear door so we just cannot use it. I will try ... Read More
