This transaction was AWFUL. The barrier took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive, and then was in used condition, and missing a part. I called the manufacturer, and their customer service was extremely rude to me, and said I will have to wait another 2 1/2 weeks for the part to ship - if it is in stock in their warehouse. If not, I have to wait until they get more manufactured. Shame on the maker of this, and shame on Amazon for working with such a terrible wholesaler. I would never recommend this product or manufacturer to anyone. Spend $10 more, so that you get a usable product within a reasonable time period.

This product is not recommended for big enthusiastic dogs. They will jump right over it...believe me they will find a way! However, If you just need to train a dog not to get up front with you, this product is the right price and the right buy!

I bought this barrier because our dog is very excitable when in the car. If left to her own accord, she would be jumping to and from the backseat to the front - which is dangerous for me as the driver. So, I saw this barrier and I thought it looked like the best one out there. I had seen all these different harnesses, but I knew Pralines wouldn't like being forced to sit still for that long. This dog barrier works great, is easy to install, and does not rattle. I highly recommend this product, it keeps our active, large, strong dog in the back of our SUV. It only rattles on our bumpy dirt road, but is quiet on pavement.

I am a Vet Tech, so I am able to take my dog to work with me & I take him almost every day. He is a Golden Retriever, so he sheds A LOT. My GMC Jimmy's back seat is pretty much covered with hair & it kind of smells like dog in there. My 3 month old puppy loves riding in the seat. The puppy is very small and will only weigh about 6 lbs. The seat is perfect for her. I don't think it would work for a dog larger the 12 lbs.

I ordered a large version of this harness, after researching many travel harnesses available. My large whippet fit within the parameters for a large harness, since his neck/chest measurement was 18 and his girth was 26. I think it is a tricky fit for some breeds - especially those with a broad rib-cage and narrower chest - as one would find with many sighthounds. It arrived today and it is very well made and appears as though it would be comfortable if you have a dog with the appropriate body habitus for this type of harness.
