Due to a welding defect, one tubular leg designed to fit inside another would not do so -- a bubble had formed inside the outer tube, obstructing insertion of the inner tube. It was a very simple defect that indicated a lack of quality control on the manufacturer's part. Also, unless you've ever had a vehicle pet barrier before, it's not obvious that ones like this do not work if you have bucket seats in front, unless you order a separate extension at additional cost. That should be indicated in the product description.

It works. A little less sturdy than I would like but still a good item. Its easy for the driver to knock over when turning around to back up, needs to be set back. It does rattle a little. will need to try to fix that. So far it has kept the dogs in the back, as intended.

This product did not sem to fit in my dodge durango. There is no place for the feet to sit between the cargo area and second row of seats

The design is nice but its not very rugged. The spot welds have all broken and the barrier extension is now lashed together with string. The string seems to be working.

I was looking for a barrier for my Mini Cooper Clubman. Based on measurements, this one seemed like it would fit -- but it doesn't, because of the shape of the barrier and of the car. It seemed well-made and the instructions, while not great, were fine. For larger vehicles, it should be a fine solution.
