This is a nice all in one but it is very slow about printing and if you have vista don't buy it. I have to reinstall everytime I want to use it and it takes forever to send a print job to it. I also tried to contact customer service or tech help but no answer yet and that was over a week ago so apparently I am on my own.

We bought this at Circuit City for 69 dollars. We don't need fax, so this suited our needs, plus its smaller than its HP competitive printers. The wireless was a snap to configure. I recommend this printer. WARNING: This Printer does not double side print automatically. I initially purchased this product because Circuit City had a sign on it that said "Doubleside Printing", now I see it doesn't. However, I see that I probably don't need this option, so I'm sticking with it.

Purchased this item early Dec. 2008. Tried to duplicate some photos, tried all the options... the machine just could not accurately duplicate the color and saturation qualities of the photos I had. Really disappointed. Returned it. Bob

I bought this printer to replace an old HP, a display model bought off the floor at Office Depot 4?? years ago. The old printer and cartridges easily printed 100+ pix with no loss of quality--but, it finally died. I really like the large view screen, editing choices and print quality of the A636, however it came with just a starter cartridge that only printed 2 test sheets, 1 good pix and then ran out of blue ink. Somewhere it should be stated that you should immediately buy cartridges, and a USB cable also not included. Also read the reviews of the 110 ink cartridge-I didn't and probably would not have selected this printer based on the really poor amount of prints I'm going to get. First of all, this printer is very professional and sleek looking. It doesn't take up much space at all when it's all closed up, and prints reasonably fast for most moderate users. Driver's installed easy, came with great free software, free 4x6 photo paper, and free 4x6 premium photo paper. Best value for the price (Although you can find it at about half the cost at a not-to-be-named superstore)

I've been using the Canon Pixma 9000 for about 4 months now. It's a pretty good advanced amateur / semi-pro printer offering great print quality and fairly fast printing speeds. While I'm happy with my printer purchase (especially considering I only paid $[...] after a promotional printer+[...] camera rebate), I'm not too sure I would buy this printer over other brands. There are a lot of caveats that come with using this printer. 1) Canon's printer driver prevents you from printing borderless images on many types of paper. Why? Why can't I get a warning instead of the total inability to do so? This printer is excellent at printing photos. The clarity and color is exceptional. I could not tell the difference between photos from a processing center and the photos printed on this machine. One of the best purchases I have made and by far the best printer of the 3 photo printers I have purchased.

I have my L7590 set up in my office, and it's working fine over the network with a variety of operating systems. It took a little bit of effort to set up on the laptops running Windows Vista. On the Macs I installed the stuff from the CD, and then just used one of the pre-installed HP OfficeJet drivers instead of the one that came with the printer. The Linux computer took about 30 seconds to set up. The print quality is good, and this printer's a lot faster than the last one we had.
