Owned one, then bought two more as gifts! That's how much I like this printer. It works seamlessly and quietly on my desk while sparing workspace, thanks to the intelligent designing. This printer is good enough for personal usage and does not meet the standards for high output work. I feel compelled to comment on the aesthetics. The looks of this printer definitely attracts comments from whoever steps into my office. Highly recommend the product if you care about the details and want your office workspace to look neat!

We needed a less expensive alternative for church leaders to use in preparing materials to share in their various projects. Took me a little longer to set up than I expected because there is a plastic piece that goes on the back of the machine I couldn't figure out how to install from the directions. It turned out to be vital in holding the paper tray in place so it would stay shut. Once I got that figured out, it has worked well. It will colate (which is very helpful in some printing projects). We are using this totally as a copy machine. So have not tried to set it up to use directly with a computer. So far, we are very pleased.

This printer was bought specifically for envelopes and labels. The toner does not adhere - it flakes off and is a mess- it has caused a huge embarrassment in my office this morning as we are trying to get invitations out. I will not buy another HP ever again.

This printer is every bit as good as the IP5000 it replaced. It's solid with both photos and text. My only gripe is that it has the same ink absorber pad design flaw that most Canon inkjets have.

The Okidata 320 Turbo works great except for the form tear-off. However, the main use for this printer is printing invoices. Without the form tear-off option, the printer is worthless for printing invoices. The form tear-off seems to have started failing at a high rate within the last couple of years. It usually lasts long enough so that the printer is out of warranty. Calling Okidata support and getting a straight answer about what is wrong is a exercise in futility. They assume that you can't figure out how to set it up. Your options are quite simple. Spend the money for a new 320 or buy an Epson.

I can't beleive some of the bad reviews. The CD/DVD printing alone is worth the price. In addition, you get scanning, lab quality printing without a PC, copying function & relatively cheap ink replacement cartridges. It wasn't that long ago you didn't get all of these features without throwing down a few hundred dollars. I paid $65 on clearance. Superb printer for the money!

I replaced a brother 2700cn with this printer and it is much quieter. it has a faster warm up time. I print over a wireless network and it set-up easy. the manual feed seems to pull the paper in crooked if its not just right. I have only used it 2-3 months and am not sure about the longevity of toner. so far so good

When I bought this printer, I was not upgrading anything. I was acting on a suspicion. That suspicion was that ink-jet photo printing had finally arrived for the average person. And it has!!! The Epson prints will be a little more expensive than the prints you get from the neighborhood Kodak shop, BUT they will be BETTER! So my advice would be to preview all your photos on your computer, take off the most promising lot to be printed by Kodak, and then pick out the VERY BEST: put them through Photoshop and print them out on this printer, and you'll be a very happy camper.
