Even though these cards cost about the same as buying a fast food lunch, their cost-per-gigabyte is a little higher than I'd prefer. The sweet spot at this particular point in time seems to be with the 8GB cards. The only reason I'd suggest this is if your device isn't capable of using SDHC yet. That said, the card works great in my father's 4 year old digital camera, haven't had any issues yet.

I just got this card, and it does not work at all. It will not format. It may be inexpensive, but when I really needed this card, it did not work. Buy a better card- not this one.

"UPDATE"...Perhaps this review and the current update will help others, however, the original review was yesterday and now this update continues with my progress overnight...I did get the camera up and running and would change the rating to a 4 out of 5 stars but I cannot change the stars via this edit...I ended up going to the "Logitech" site and dowloading the current drivers. I only loaded the drivers and did not use the disk that came with the camera. With just the drivers loaded I went directly to "Skype" and it works great. No glitches or problems in my first online event with this camera. I did change the mike default on "Skpye" to get the audio to acknowledge using the Logitech 9000's mike but beyond that, I had absolutely no problems...I still got the error "1719" but gave up fiddling ... This is an excellent SDHC card to have, fast and very reliable. I have used Transcend SD cards before and they are very efficient. Never had the problem of losing any data or pictures. FAIR WARNING THOUGH: MAKE SURE YOUR EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS OR IS COMPATIBLE WITH AN SDHC. READ YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL BEFORE SWITCHING TO THIS CARD. If your equipment is ONLY compatible with REGULAR SD (not SDHC), just stick with SD. Otherwise you might find out the hard way like I did. I still gave this card a 5-star because the compatibility issues was my mistake. This was compatible with my newer camera but not the card reader in my laptop and my older cameras.

...keeps on working? Well, that's what happened. I've had this little flash drive for over a year and used it to transport data back and forth between my home and work computers. One day I realized I'd misplaced it, and was horrified to find it on the bottom of my washing machine. I had apparently left it in a pocket and it went through the wash. I didn't bother to try the soggy drive, figuring it was ruined, so I put it aside for a week or so. However, when I later plugged it in, I was thrilled to see it seemed none the worse for wear, and neither was the data that was stored on it. That was back in July. Great little inexpensive, solidly made storage device. I just ordered three more....

Buyer Beware! The Sandisk Cruzer is NOT the drive you want to store Microsoft Office files. I used my drive for app. two weeks without incident. All of a sudden, several Excel files failed to load and a dialoge box opened saying a file was corrupted; then a few Word files were corrupted. Now all the Office files are corrupted. I tossed the POS.
