Not only is the Apple Air is slickest notebook around, it's pretty powerful. I've run HD (720p) video on it flawlessly, and Google Earth, which a demanding program. The keyboard is fantastic and a dream to type on. The screen is absolutely beautiful. I've used some of my landscape photography as wallpaper. The 128gb SSD is very fast--if you're buying this computer, pony up the extra $$$ for the SSD.

The only negatives I can see are the lack of ports. One headphone jack, one video out (which you need an extra accessory for), and one USB? Thankfully, it has Bluetooth 2.1 so you don't have to waste the USB port on a mouse. Also, there's no Kensington lock (although the computer is small enough to tote around). Apple is going to let other companies make their own adapters for the Mini ... Read More

I had this netbook for nearly 5 months now. it is very fast and portable. the main disadvantages are that the key board is very small in a way you will hardly get adapted to it. it is very difficult or nearly impossible to download windows xp on it once it is not preloaded ( it tried with five copies of windows until now and failed). the battery only lasts 2 hours when you have the wifi on. I had no difficulty on connecting to any network. it connects to all printers with no difficulty. it switches on and off very fast. I recommend it to anybody who moves a lot as it is very portable.

I love my little asus. While it will probably never manage to be a workhorse, that's not why I bought it. It's fabulous for general net surfing and basic office doc uses, works great out of the box and is incredibly portable. The speakers sound good.

I do wish that getting rid of unwanted/unecessary programs was easier, but they aren't really in the way, especially since adding external memory is so easy and doesn't really cause much slow down.

It's also so *cute*. Practically everyone who sees it stops to comment on it. Best computer money I've spent since I bought my original desktop system.

After looking around, I decided that this computer offered a lot of bang for my buck. Shipping was very quick and communication was excellent from the Amazon supplier. The computer arrived unscathed via UPS.

It offers a lot of features that I wanted, e.g. fast processor, large hard drive, built in camera. It also has finger print ID--a feature I wasn't convinced I needed. It is an interesting accessory, however, providing quick start up.

After having the computer about a month, I'd say it fits my needs well. The only downside is a HUGE battery. I was not expecting something this large. When installed, it creates a large "bump" on the bottom of the computer. I hope it redeems itself in long, unconnected operating times. It does significantly add to the weight of the computer.

This Laptop is great for the price so far no complaints. Its great for business use. The Compaq Presario CQ50-210US looks similar to the HP 6000 series but without all the flashy aesthetics, which I prefer. Put in a finger print reader and it would be good to go.
