Too much time at my laptop was causing neck, back, and wrist pain. I raised the laptop so that screen was at eye level, and purchased this keyboard and mouse. Spending the same amount of time on the computer, but my pain has disappeared.

Additionally, the keyboard and mouse are very comfortable to use and work perfectly! Highly recommend!

Using Vista Ultimate 32-bit. When logging on to my Vista password account, Shift & Caps Lock bar would not type the following capitol letters and numbers: U, I, O, J, K, L, M, 7, 8, 9. Keyboard did not allow the first typed letters/number above using a Vista Ultimate password. I had to change keyboards to gain access to my PC. Works well if not using a Vista password to access your PC.

Having worked with this keyboard, I find it frustrating. If it were as simple as plugging in the keyboard and going, that might be one thing, but the amount of work and figuring involved to set it up make it not worth it.

As someone else remarked, if you already have a ZBoard, there's no reason not to get the specific WoW keyset, but if you don't ... WoW itself offers UI customisation capacities right out of the box that can do the same thing -- and there are free third-party addons and mods that expand those capacities dramatically. If you have enough knowhow of the game's UI mechanics to make this keyboard work for you, you have enough knowhow to remap your keys to provide yourself with the same benefits for no price at all -- without the hassle of working through hardware glitches ... Grrrr...I hate this mouse. I can't believe I threw out the packaging so I can't return it. The placement of the back button is in a horrible location, so you end up pressing it by mistake all the time. Within Outlook, if you're in the middle of a reply to an email and happen to press it the reply indicator gets placed on the wrong email. So it looks like you didn't reply to someone.

I'm going to have to either open this thing up and disable it, or superglue the button in place since I can't seem to find a software fix.

Although, other than the forward/back button placements, it's a great mouse.

Saitek Eclipse Keyboard PZ30AU

This PZ30AU keyboard would not work with my older office Dell computer running Ms2000Pro that I bought it for. Rather then returning it I switched it out with a keyboard from a HP computer running Microsoft XP .. Works fine on the HP-XPOS.. However, Backlighting is not as bright as I expected.

Here is my mini review of high end mice I've tried recently.

Razer Lachesis 4000 dpi Laser Gaming Mous--Banshee Blue (4000 DPI, 9 buttons): This is the first mouse that gave me actual pain my my fingers and palm after just a couple of hours use and it has just about the worst ergonomics of any mouse I've ever used. The side buttons are in a very inconvinient location. In first person shooters you'll constantly be accidentally clicking either side's buttons since they're in the area where you grip the mouse (they're designed so you need to put "extra" pressure in the grip to click them). The laser itself is pretty decent at 4000 DPI, but it is placed in the middle of the mouse instead of closer to the front, so you basically need to move the whole mouse to aim instead of the regular first ... I started not to order this after reading the "lasted 3 months" review, but figured I would give it a shot for 5 bucks. After a month and a half of weekly laptop use Windows fails to recognize the device (on two different PCs). That adds up to about 6 uses.

If you decide to give it a shot, you should be aware that this is not a full-size mouse. It's just about right for traveling with a laptop, but not so small it is difficult to use--at least until it stops working!

The keyboard and mouse work well, but do tend to drain the batteries quite quickly.

The Merc Stealth is a pretty good keyboard so long as you only use it for gaming. The combination Numberpad/Insert/Home/Delete keyset really makes using many other applications a royal pain.

Be warned: If you're a longtime gamer you WILL have to spend some time re-training your fingers to use this keyboard. It's a WASD setup sure, but you'll find everything just a little "off".

The illuminated keys are great, would be better if it would remember which color it was set to last whenever you turn the PC back on.
