Ok, I have used five different wireless mice, and I have to say this one is great. This is my first bluetooth or laser mouse. The bluetooth is nice because of the range. I sometimes use my laptop as a video player since it has hdmi out, and the mouse becomes the remote.

After using a laser you will never go back to optical. Laser is way better and will work on ANY surface. That includes glass, the couch, or even the carpet.

I don't know about the battery life yet, but I have been using it a few hours a day for the last three weeks and I am still on the first pair of AAs, which seems decent to me. It says it even has a warning light for when you should replace them.

This product worked exactly as promised. The laser had an extremely long range. It would be great for long distance use but keep in mind that the green laser is really intense and not suitable for up close use. I bought this product for presentations, and had to return it because it was too intense of a beam. But the laser pen was very comfortable and well designed.

I certainly expected higher quality for a product with such a comparably high price tag:

Spin wheel got stuck within the first week of use. Logitech replaced the mouse.

Second mouse now has the same problem that other users experienced: Sometimes it doesn't register clicks or doesn't move smoothly even though the batteries are fresh and the receiver is just about 3 feet away from mouse.

I needed a precise mouse to work with. Very disappointed.

First, this keyboard, although small, feels just like a full size keyboard. If your new to Apple products, you will love it. Only three exceptions that I noted, the placement of the arrow keys, if your a die hard computer user, it is nearly or just plain impossible to get use to. Second, the delete key, meaning the delete key that deletes a key to the right of your cursor is missing. So, if you get one, remember that you will need to press FN+delete to delete to the right of your cursor. The keys for expose, spaces, etc, have been mapped over the function keys. I really don't care for the press FN, then hunt for the key.

If your a long-time mac (or Windows switcher) you may have trouble adjusting to the shortcomings that I noted. It is too bad that Apple doesn't make a full size keyboard, ... Read More

Here is my mini review of high end mice I've tried recently.

Ideazon Reaper Edge Gaming Mouse - 3200 DPI (3200 DPI, 6 buttons): It's a decent mouse except for the side buttons. The bottom side button is under a nub that is a bit annoying to reach in the middle of a first person shooter fight. The top side button is a little nicer to reach and decent to use for knocking zombies off yourself in L4D. The wheel is annoying since sometimes as you scroll it seems to click without putting much pressure on it (which is annoying if you have something bound to MOUSE3 and you just wanted to scroll the mouse wheel). Also, it would have been nice to have two DPI buttons instead of the one (easier to "go to sniper mode"/"go to regular mode"). Currently the DPI button toggles between 5 different DPI levels one at ... Read More

This is my third MX518, and will buy one more in two years, I say two years because this is a great mouse, but as others have said, over time the buttons will wear out. get it, you'll live it a lot.
