This was my first wireless mouse, and I enjoyed the convenience of going wireless. I have had this mouse for about a year and a half, and after a while, it seemed that it would not respond. The pointer would move when I would move the mouse, but clicking would have no effect. I would have to click many times to wait for the mouse to respond. This has been happening more frequently within the last six months. I have changed the battery a couple of times, and even did so recently but that did not improve performance. Today I received the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 ( D1T-00002 ) to replace it and put the wireless mouse away. I give it three stars because it is comfortable, compact, ergonomic, and was fun at first. But I had to move on. It was too frustrating.

Quick review: I was looking to buy a mouse to use with my wireless mac keyboard but the Mighty Mouse is a little too simple, even if it works great. I bought this logitech refurbished off eBay for $35 and it works great. The scroll wheel is fantastic, as is the design.

My only gripe with the mouse is that the mouse is HUGE. Definitely check it out in stores before buying because you might find you don't like it because its too big.

I just ordered two of these for our Graphics artists and wow! These things are amazing and give so much more control than a regular mouse. The things you can do are endless! A great, great product!

Not that it makes a big difference but I was wondering why it came with Elements 5.0 instead of 6.0. (I also ordered the blue one and it came with 6.0.)

The technical specs said "USB port"; what I received, however, was a PS/2, which won't work on my laptop. Not worth the hassle to return, which is maybe what the vendor is hoping.

I have always liked Logitech mice and have been really happy with the G5, which I purchased as a replacement for another aging mouse at work.

This model comes with a set of small weights that can be placed inside the mouse to "balance" its movement. My initial impression of this feature that it was a gimmick, but after spending some time with the weights, I found that it made a noticeable difference in the mouse's feel during use.

The G5 come with large slick pads underneath, larger than other mice I've used, and which improve its movement. It also features DPI adjustment buttons which have the effect of making the mouse more or less sensitive without having a go into your computer's mouse settings to adjust anything. Another feature that I first thought was gimmicky, ... Read More

This thing is a real POS!!!

My boyfriend got it for my for my birthday and I spent ALL night trying to install it on my Vista machine. Needless to say, I never got it installed. I tried everything I could, read all the help literature I could find and I got no where. All in all I got a 5 hour headache.

My computer is not the problem. I have countless other programs that run flawlessly and I am NOT working on a cheap machine.

I've owned a Wacom tablet before and I had nothing but problems with that one too. It randomly froze up while I was using it and that problem was never fixed (and I wasn't the only one with the problem, btw).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!

I will NEVER again buy another Wacom product. The only thing these ... Read More

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Wacom Tablet. I orginally purchased this tablet to use with my Photoshop Elements software, which I found difficult to use all of the features correctly and knew that a tablet would solve most of my problems. I have had my Wacom Intuos 3 table for about three weeks now and I am so impressed with the features. For someone like me who sits on the bed with the laptop on my very small adjustable desk this is perfect. I have everything I need on the Wacom table (the keyboard, mouse, etc.) and I no longer need to reach for my laptop in uncomfortable positions and I no longer have to worry about getting muscle aches because my Wacom sits easily in my lap and allows me to do everything from this position. I have the 6x8, since this size is recommended for people using a laptop ... Read More

I had this mouse for a while a few years ago. Perhaps it has been redesigned since then, but at the time, I felt that the weight of the mouse was heavy, due to the batteries you have to stuff in there. It required extra effort to push it around my mouse pad. I didn't notice it as first, but after a few days, my hand felt fatigued. Also, sometimes it got knocked off the desktop and when it fell, it fell hard because of the weight. After a while it didn't work anymore and I was more than happy to go out and get a mouse that wasn't filled with batteries. Now I have the (overpriced) Mighty Mouse that has a cord, and it works fine, but the cord is about a foot too short for the giant G5 tower that I have. At those prices, why can't they get it right?

I see that I'm hardly unique here. Like others who've posted reviews already, I bought my Logitech Trackman Marble back in 1995 or so when I bought my first Windows PC.

So when I went GUI, like many of you, it seemed to me like a totally dumb idea to move a mouse around a desktop. It made much more sense to me to keep your hand on a stationary peripheral.

At the time, the Logitech Trackman Marble was the only game in town if you wanted a trackball. This simple inexpensive little peripheral has outlived countless computers and has served me well for over ten years! Wow!

So I was beside myself when some books on the shelf above my computer slipped and knocked a cup of Pepsi over my keyboard and Trackman last week. The keyboard? Eh! Keyboards are the proverbial dime a dozen ... Read More

Doesnt matter how good this keyboard is, if the parts start to wear out in less than 2months.... its useless.

My shift button now squeaks bad when I press it, with FPS games. Its getting worse. So much for being a gaming keyboard. My crappy generic keyboard outlasted this by 5 years.
