I exercise routinely on a stationary bicycle trainer that operates a computer driven video of courses/programs and, when seated on the bike, I am about 10-12 feet from the TV monitor. From atop the bike, I want to control the PC application, including switching training programs, video courses, parameters, etc. I tried a regular wireless mouse, but the range was only 6 ft or so -- not quite enough. This air mouse extends well beyond the minimun distance I need and works quite well. My only gripe is that there does not appear to be a right mouse click option (for selecting/disabling system tray apps). I love this product! It works well, has great range, and is fully functional! My wife's favorite features are the multi-media buttons. We watch lots of TV shows and movies from our media computer on our HDTV, so it works great! And... you gotta LOVE the price!!! If I had a complaint, it would only be that the mouse doesn't work on all surfaces... but then again, what mouse does??? So it's really not against this particular combo, just mice in general.

I got this a few days ago.It was a cinch to run with my new Vista laptop. I like the size of it because I have small hands and larger mice sort of cramp up my hand after a while. I also like the way the USB connector tucks into the mouse's underside. So...it looks cool;fits my hand;and is easy to install.

Okay, I have had about a month with this, and I was okay with knowing that one note had handwriting problems, because I was going to upgrade my computer to vista ultimate. After upgrading my computer with vista ultimate, I quickly figured out that it's not just one note, IT'S EVERYTHING that I bought the bamboo in the first place for, the line quality is HORRIBLE! Word, journal, and the tablet pc input panel. Shaky, ugly lines. In journal and word, it smooths itself out, but it still has "shakes" in words and looks really "jagged". Plus, when you are writing, it looks like you cant control your hand or something, and it's really frustrating. The Microsoft wireless 4000 is a good buy. I like the design of the board and the features are sensible. I'm on the computer quite a lot and it doesn't tire my hands. I would like the keys to be softer or of a different material, but it doesn't cause any real problems. Just a little slick. I really like the mouse features too and it gives many options for users. All in all, worth buying.

I bought this mouse to replace an IBM optical mouse I used with an older Dell desktop. This Microsoft mouse is built well,comfortable to use and performs well. I went for a Microsoft mouse because I already own two of them (white color though) and I have never had any problems with them, unlike GE or IBM mice I owned.

I was looking for a cheap wired mouse/keyboard combination, and this did the trick. While they are neither the best keyboard nor best mouse I've ever used, they're an excellent quality for the price.

This is the best feeling keyboard and mouse I've ever used. The keys are quiet and smooth. The mouse fits like a glove and has smooth scrolling (no clicks and no nonstop spin like Logitech's hyper speed wheel.) I traded in my Logitech Wave Pro for this and am extremely happy with my decision.
