Worked perfectly fine on my computer that is 5 years old. Only problem I had, was when my computer randomly turned off. This just turned out to be overheating because my fans weren't properly working. Great ram, would recommend to anybody.

Bought 3 of this a while back and they were all working for a month or so. One I left it plug in to my desk top for a couple of hours then it got warm so I unplug it. I waited for to cool off and then plug it back in then it wasn't working anymore. The other two didn't work after two months. They are cheap and convenient to use but it's not worth it to buy.

I'm naturally a bit wary of anything with "Value" in the name, but figured, "At this price, what the heck?" So, I bought a few. Works like a dream and really helped revive a couple old slow-pokes in my arsenal. Think I'll buy a few more and double the RAM in all my PC's. For the record, these are still going for $75-80 at that store where they wear the tasteful blue polo shirts, so get 'em now.

In the past week I've had 2 separate cards not work when inserted into this reader. I've formatted the cards in camera and shot about 100 photos. I put in the reader and they are corrupted and I've lost all of the shots. I'm not sure if this is a CF card problem - I've used the cards again with the same reader and had no problem. It is intermittent. The only thing that I did yesterday was remove the CF card from the reader without ejecting it. I then put it in the camera and formatted 2x. Shot photos went to put back into reader and poof the shots are no good. Put the card back in the camera and they are no good there too. Any ideas?

Even though these cards cost about the same as buying a fast food lunch, their cost-per-gigabyte is a little higher than I'd prefer. The sweet spot at this particular point in time seems to be with the 8GB cards. The only reason I'd suggest this is if your device isn't capable of using SDHC yet. That said, the card works great in my father's 4 year old digital camera, haven't had any issues yet.

The Kingston memory installed easy and worked the first time. I had 516 MB of Kingston memory already in the computer so I did not expect any compatibility problems.

I wanted to add more RAM to my ageing DELL server and found this for a bargain price at Amazon. After installing my PC runs at least 25% faster with no problems. It is definitely not a RAM with blazing speeds, but does the job for me and the Amazon price was the most competitive of them all and a deciding factor for me to buy it.
