PC Hardware : Handspring Visor (Graphite)
This PDA is great for the user who doesn't need all the fancy features and superfluous accessories and gadgets and functions that may make a PDA seem too cluttered. It includes the basic features like memo, to-do, contacts, calendar, calculator, etc. It is light and MAY include a keyboard that allows the user to type long memos or appointments quickly. It uses AAA batteries which avoids having those wires and cords for recharging which may take a while for other PDAs.

PC Hardware : Samsung SGH-A437 Phone A437 Quad Band World GSM ATT&T/CINGULAR no new contract required
This phone is pretty good, I got it because it was free with a renewal with a contract with AT&T. It does everything that I want it to do... text, AIM, play ringtones with music, take pictures etc. I have no complaints about this phone. The ringers are really loud, the phone is easy to hear and I have had no complaints from family/friends about voice quality. The speakerphone isn't very strong but then again I have a bluetooth which works great!

P.S. I dont know what the guy before me is rambling about this phone is great A+

PC Hardware : Sony Clie PEG-NX73V Handheld
I came from using TRGpro & Handera 330. Difficult to find a new PalmOS machine with the high usability of extinguished models.
I bought this unit recently, and love it. The screen is sharp (screen protector is a must before any use) and colourful. The dual card option (memory stick & CF) is scarse in PalmOS PDAs. I am a pediatrician an use both 1GB CF & 512MB MSPro cards. If you need to store a lot of data for reference or database needs, then NX-73V or NX-80V is for you. The difference: 5MB more (real) RAM and 1.3MP camera for NX80V. But NX73V is comparable in use and has a beautiful black case.
JackFlash is a must to take use of 15MB aditional FlashROM memory available inside the NX73V, so you take many files off RAM (to cards or FlashROM) to make space available.

The toggle switch on my new e805 broke the second time I moved it from WiFi to off. I sent the unit in under warrenty. Toshiba warrenty department said the mother board must be replaced to fix the toggle switch and is not covered under warrenty. They charged $125.00 to repair unit. I've bought a lot of Toshiba products, this will be the last.

I write under very special conditions. I was using a palm with a keyboard, but I found it not to be powerful enough. A laptop was too heavy, the battery life was miserable, and it took forever to turn on. I found a jornada on Ebay. It is a piece of junk! They get constant memory losses, and it took a week for the screen to fall right off its hinges. I got another and it was wiped with the most crucial information of my life. Like you I read negative revues and gave it the benefit of the doubt(after all I love all electronics), but heed my warning STAND CLEAR.

PC Hardware : Handspring Visor Edge (Metallic Silver)
Seriously, I have owned mine for at least 7 years....it might beven be closer to eight. It has never once crashed, lost data, slowed down....the battery is the orignal, the screen is still clear - even with almost 8 years of tapping and scratching - and it has alsways remained quick and speedy. The Visor Edge (mine was red) has brought sanity to my life without adding clunky programs and other gadgets. Plus, after nearly 8 years, the metal cover is still perfectly intact, except for one small scartch about 1/4 an inch long. Considering I am a very clumsy person and have dropped it numerous times, the machine is still almost new looking. The metal case has been amazing durable!!! If you can still find.......it is WORTH IT!!!!

Hi. I already bought ten of these devices, in order to develop a unique project supported by Microsoft using latest .NET compact framework techs, etc. The first surprise.. our 5450s are like a beta test.. and we are beta testers. WLAN works fine, but they cannot authenticate in an Linksys AP, 802.11G is not supported on early models, this problem was recognized by HP and they released an OS update. In addition, battery indicator shows depletion erroneously, there are several problems with low cost SD memory expansion cards, my device worked with Simple Tech, Wiking or Kingston, other brands didn't worked at all. One of our devices dropped from a loose jacket pocket, a 2-feet fall. Results: the screen exploded and broken in several parts, seems that the screen was made with real glass, not plexiglass nor other transparent ... Read More

PC Hardware : Garmin iQue M5 Integrated Pocket PC and GPS
This product works perfectly for what I use it for. I've used the GPS functionality to navigate around Boston and Massachusetts, and it has worked flawlessly in that capacity. I've used Pocket Word to input various notes, and that has also worked for me. I've used Pocket Excel to manage grading for my 100 9th grade students in my 9th grade algebra class, and it's worked exceptionally well there as well. I've downloaded various PocketPC programs for this unit as well and have had no problems working with those programs either.

All in all, for a relatively fast GPS unit coupled with a very good PDA system, I can't think of something better for me. I also own the Cingular 8125 HTC Wizard device, and I much prefer the larger display of this GPS/PDA to that device. This unit uses WM2003, not WM2005 and later versions of WM, ... Read More
