PC Hardware : Hewlett Packard Jornada 720 Handheld PC
Don't think PDA...think small computer. Because that's what this really is. With new micro computers such as the Asus EEE now becoming popular but still costing heaps, time to have another look! Can do everything on this unit, including play movies with freeware software, plus do all of your office tasks and internet browsing. New memory card sizes make it a lot more valuable than when it first came out...add a 2GB card, and store lots of movies, documents, presentations and MP3 files!

PC Hardware : Sony PEG-S360 Clie Handheld
The S-360 is a low-level PDA and an excellent value. I got mine in June of 2002, and it still works lik a charm. The SJ360 isn't flashy or colorful like some pocket PC (it's processor and monochrome screen are obviously below the task), but it handles functions like calendar, to-do, e-mail and phone-book, as well as allowing a big area for memos for whatever comes to mind. It's incredibly thin and light - much more so than the Visor Handspring I bought my wife the year before. It comes with 16MB of RAM, though it includes a slot for memory-sticks (which I haven't tried yet). Though using the same operating system as the Palm Pilot, Clies come with something unique, a jog-wheel - a wheel on the side that allows you to scroll through information while holding the unit with one hand. PC Hardware : Dell Axim X50v Pocket Pc Handheld 624 Mhz
I have had my dell axim for several years now, this is a great product for multimedia purposes. You can download many programs and have music, movies,GPS navigation(need reciever), and much much more with this device. I need to mention that dell pda's has several problems with the software and hardware. There are web sites out there to help buyers with various problems from this device. I had to replace my initial Dell axim x50v because of a digitizer problem. My screen would not align and my stylus was never acurate, but after getting a replacment, I have yet to run into any major problems. I recommend having some type of warranty with this product since it has a reputation of so many problems if you are going to purchase this.

124.Nokia E61i - Cellular phone with digital camera / digital player - T-Mobile - WCDMA (UMTS) / GSM - mocha from: Nokia

PC Hardware : Nokia E61i - Cellular phone with digital camera / digital player - T-Mobile - WCDMA (UMTS) / GSM - mocha
I've used my Nokia E61i for about 1/2 a year after having a Treo for the year before that. I use this phone for

- Exchange based Email and Calendaring-- with Good Email Messaging (3rd party sw)
- Web browsing
- Google maps: download the application--it works great and will give you directions and show your location based on the coordinates of the cell tower you are talking to (or you can add on true GPS).
- Voice calls

What I like:

- Overall quality: This phone is one of a few models that survived Cisco's rigorous tesing for a replacement for their corporate smartphones (previously treos). They did a lot of QA on these devices and out of the few that survived (blackjack, moto Q, Nokia e61i), this phone has the best battery life.

- Battery life: ... Read More

Toshiba doesn't offer any support for products after a newer model is lanched. While everyone else can evolve with technology, you will have to keep buying new units from Toshiba to keep up. No Thanks.

127.PalmOne IIIx Handheld from: Palm

PC Hardware : PalmOne IIIx Handheld
It was big mistake of mine. Firs of all I had to buy cable to connect it to my new laptop. And the worst thing was that as soon as battery dies all of the information from PalmOne was gone and I had to sync information back again. I do not use this product.

I made the mistake of purchasing this product when it came on the market (and paid approximately $400). I was attracted by the capacity of the drive and the large display. Within weeks of using the device it began to freeze up and crash intermittently resulting in repeated data loss. At times the screen would go blank/"white" for no apparent reason when turned on and would require a system reset. The system reset occasionally would wipe out all of the software I installed on the device requiring me to reinstall everything and re-enter all of the product keys (this required hours of time). After several months of this and MANY hours on the phone with technical support the mini hard-drive completely failed: when the device was turned on it made clicking noises but would not boot (in case you're wondering, the device was handled carefully ... 129.Xircom Rex 5001 with Docking Station from: XIRCOM
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

PC Hardware : Xircom Rex 5001 with Docking Station
I remember buying a Psion palm computer, and then an Ipaq Pocket PC to use as an organizer.

But for ease and convenience, absolutely nothing beats the Rex.

I mainly use as a little phone book, which I find myself in need a lot. Rather than bungling through my bag and looking for the Pocket PC, I just whip out the Rex and have the desired phone number in 1 minute.

I put the Rex in my front pocket of my pants, which may not be the best. However, my pants aren't that tight that it would be a big problem. I did have a Rex before where the screen started dying, but this was after years use. I don't think a wallet (back pocket) is a great place to put the Rex, as there probably isn't much slack back there (cough).

The Palm V is comparable, but it is still huge compared the the PC Card sized Rex.

130.HP HW6515 GPS QUADBAND Pocket PC HW6500 series PDA PHONE 6515a from: Hewlett-Packard (HP)
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

>>More Details
PC Hardware : HP HW6515 GPS QUADBAND Pocket PC HW6500 series PDA PHONE 6515a
The best about this phone is dual card slots, GPS, flip cover, and keypad. Most new GPS phones in the market now doesnt support SDIO SD card slot, they only support mini SD. Therefore this hw6515 has a great advantage over all other PDA phone. Wifi can be added with the new Spectec mini SD wifi card, which will save you the SDIO slot for adding extra storage (up to 4GB) or SDIO devices such as radio, scanner, etc.
The bad things about this phone are no wifi, 240x240 screen, and poor battery life (compare to other PDA phone, although hp released a extended battery of 1800mAh, the standard 1200mAh only support you about 1-2 days).
Quad band and GPS that makes it special among many other PDA phone in market now. The maximum amount of external memory can be added is 6GB (4GB SD and 2GB mini SD)
