As a video card it works fine. As a TV it is terrible. TV last about 5-10 minutes and then the sound goes. Sometimes on reboot the TV dissappears all together. The new Media Center is a lot of GUI that is not needed. The old Media Center used for the All-in-Wonder 8500 was simple and you didn't need to launch the entire media center to run any of the items.

This card has given my gaming rig some real 'zap'. Crysis and Stalker Clear Sky run at max settings and it runs cool and is overclockable from windows. But, I only just got it into the Mobo, due to its mahoosive size. Its far end conflicted with the IDE connection socket. Luckily, it works just fine, in spite of not being fully seated into the socket. In addition, the fitting instructions are woefully inadequate (ie they do not exist)and the extra cables are not explained. It works, but I haven't used the cables that came with it (except power, obviously). Well worth $140.

This card is great. Comes pre-overclocked so technically it's a faster card. Comes clocked at 635/925/1566 but it overclocks great. I'm running mine currently at 700/1000/1700 stable...tested with 3DMark 06. Chews through games with everything on max. settings like a knife through butter. The only thing is that the fan gets rather noisy past 50%, but you don't really need to go past that in any case, especially if your case is well ventilated. Even with my overclock, my max temps average around 80C with fan speed at 55%. Overall, great card for the price-point, and great performance! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! The fan noise is very apparent past 50% but it's not enough for me to knock off a star. At 50%, even up to 70% it's ok. Very happy with my purchase.

OK, this card works, and is worth about what you pay for it. However....I think I learned a lesson. Others have made similar comments, but I had to learn by doing. The lesson is this: Don't expect this card to make your single-core econo-model PC into a game/graphics demon. It will make your display smoother and make it possible to run some graphic-intensive games. In the process, it will push the power supply to the max, and you'll discover other bottlenecks such as disc and memory i/o. In retrospect, I'd have been better off to put the cash towards a higher-end PC.

What can I say? It's simply impressive the power of this video card!!! Grid, Call of duty modern warfare, everything with all the options maxed out (on a 1280x1024) work smoothly. For the money there isn't a better option!!! This is the video card. BUY IT!

I bought this video card in hopes to be able to watch streaming videos on a V7, 22 inch wide screen monitor.Results were very satisfying .I am able to watch streaaming videos on my monitor at 1680 x 1050 resolution with a clear picture with no choppiness or any distortion of picture.Video quality is great.Would reccommend for those who are just interested in using it for videos.Easy to install also.
