I just bought this cyber monday for $19.99.It came yesterday,which was wednesday.It took lesS than a half hour to set it up.It is very user friendly and prints great pictures.

The HP deskjet F4280 printer was purchased for my personal use & so far it is exactly what I need. I wanted a simple printer/scanner without a lot of extras; this describes the HP purchased.

I have had nothing but problems with this printer. I bought it for the all-in-one features and to free up some room on my desk. From the beginning, the scanner never worked. I kept getting error messages. I tried several times to correct the problem with the tech people but I had nothing but problems reaching them. Then the printer kept getting paper jams in the back. Now the rollers don't grip the paper and any copies I make only come out half or barely completed. Also, after I replace an empty ink cartridge, when I try to print, I get a message stating that the cartridge is empty and do I want to print in black only. This happens no matter which ink cartridge I replace. I will never buy an all-in-one product from Hewlett Packard again. The only feature that has worked without any problems ... Read More

We had a similar HP before the 6380 and only replaced it because we were having some minor concerns as it aged. Now I'd rather the old one back. While I have no problem with the print quality or time it takes to actualy print pages, this new HP drives me crazy with the gymnastics it performs before it gets ready to actually print. It hums and haws and groans and waits and does it some more and then finally makes up its mind to print.--What a pain.--If you like to get the printed page right after hitting "print" look elsewhere.

I bought this printer over a year ago and LOVED it. Did everything it claimed to, etc. Then it all of a sudden it had a "Reset Power" error and all of the lights began to flash. I did a quick google search and realized that this is not uncommon, and the only solution is to get a new printer, or get a replacement from HP if it's still under warranty (mine isn't). It's a systemic error and HP doesn't have a fix for it. Do your research, run a quick Google search on "HP 6310 Reset Power" and you'll see it's not uncommon.

I have been working with Windows every since I have used computer. So, since I've started using Linux, I have had to learn by trial and error. True. It is more secure that Windows. But, to this point Windows is more user friendly.

I was delighted to find the HP J6480 and all its great reviews. I have an HP PC and thought that it would be a great fit from a compatibility perspective. Unfortunately, the software for this product is EXTREMELY poor. I have spent 167 minutes on the phone with support troubleshooting issues and they still have not been resolved. All in all, this is a good plug and play double sided printer for basics but the setup is challenging and the software package is pretty problematic. Kinda wish I had gone with the Canon Pixma MP610.

I've read some reviews of this and similar monitors that questioned the utility of the rotation feature. As a composer, that is exactly why I bought this and not another model (such as the cheaper Acer). With the monitor rotated to portrait orientation, I can view an entire page of an orchestral score legibly, and doing layout and formatting is a breeze when I don't have to scroll around a laptop screen to view different areas of the same page. When working in other music programs (sequencing, audio editing, Max/MSP, etc), the sheer amount of screen real estate in either orientation is immensely useful for organizing ideas. If you do similar work, this monitor is a fantastic option. I don't find the rotation to be overly difficult as some others have, and I particularly appreciate how the cables are not stretched ...
