First of all, prior to buying this laptop, I only looked at the stats. The selling points for me was the large hard drive, and the extremely light weight. Aside from the identical stats, like the Atom processor and the RAM, and 6 cell battery, the HHD and weight were the very reason I bought this laptop. However, after I purchased it, I started getting scared for several reasons after looking at actual older reviews. Problems with a loud fan noise. WiFi problems (worried me the most.) This MacBook is a great upgrade all things considered. I am a longtime Mac user and have used them for everything from graphic design work to simple college papers. I recently upgraded to this Mac from an Ibook G4. If you are intending to use this Mac for heavy graphic design and professional video editing then it may not be for you. I would like to refute a few of the bad reviews people have given. 1.) There is no firewire - This is apparent by simply looking at the laptop and thus if you use firewire often then don't buy it, this will save some time returning it. Better than expected. Great resolution; large keyboard. I see why techy experts rate this one better than the MSI Wind or the Acer. And no problems with the wireless connection. Set up was a snap; easy as 1-2-3.

I've had my 904HA for about 2 weeks now (I'm typing this review on it). It's my first netbook/laptop, although I am the default techie for my wife's compaq laptop and have used the office laptops periodically. I must say that I am more than happy. I get about 6 hours battery life surfing the net or playing games with the wifi on (brightness at about 75%). I've been able to put a "virtual drive" which allows me to run some old games I have, and I've copied over all the MP3s from my MP3 player to have on the road with me. The only negative I can report is the oddly placed right shift key, but I really haven't noticed this to be much of an issue (I tend to shift with my left hand 99% of the time anyway). This had been a perfect and lovely machine has good size, weight, long time battery and so on until last weekend when I found the bluetooth not working. According to the manual, the blue LED showing bluetooth activity should be turnned on if I pressed Fn+F11 keys. But it didn't. When I ran the bluetooth control program, it just kept saying that try again after turning on bluetooth device even though the device was shown working properly in control pannel. I tried to find the reason and answer of the problem, but I couldn't. I just found some other guys also have same problem in the MSI forum, but there was not the answer either. I updated the BIOS, re-installed the bluetooth driver, but still I cannot turn it on. I really want to ask other guys of you. Am I the only one having this problem? ... Read More

I brought 2 pcs for my sons. They are 10 and 8 year old. Both of them are very satisfied with this product especially my younger son. The battery life is amazing, almost 5 hours. On this kind of product, it's longer than what I expected.

The new macbook pro is my first mac and I have to say I am enjoying it. I got the machine because I love OS X. The machine is plenty fast and the display is great. If you do any kind of development this is the machine to get.

After much research between Toshiba HP and Sony I decided on the Toshiba Satellite L305-S5907. I compared it to the HP Touch which I was real excited about when it first came out. I use my laptop. So I looked at the HP touch screen or Sony.Everything I have so far installed and begun using has been easy for me, not a computer whiz, to accomplish, though I'm very thankful for the reviewers who mentioned the Windows VISTA habit of always asking via a dialogue box pop-up if the user or "administrator" (me) initiated the action. Even though this pop up sometimes feels disruptive, I've become more comfortable with Amazon.com thank you very much for good price and service. http://www.AllSeasonsGiftBasket.com
