Even though these cards cost about the same as buying a fast food lunch, their cost-per-gigabyte is a little higher than I'd prefer. The sweet spot at this particular point in time seems to be with the 8GB cards. The only reason I'd suggest this is if your device isn't capable of using SDHC yet. That said, the card works great in my father's 4 year old digital camera, haven't had any issues yet.

I received my camera in September 08 shortly before my birthday. I have a budding interest in photography and have been experimenting with different cameras. This is the third camera I have bought in the past year. The price was unbeatable and it has more features than my previous camera which cost over $300.00. My step-father saw my camera on Thanksgiving and ordered three. One for himself and two as christmas gifts for other family members. The camera is super easy to use and makes fantastic shots. I was looking for a camera to replace the Canon that I lost. I just need a camera for casual use, a few group shots here and there, nothing major. This camera fulfills that perfectly, and got it for a great price on black friday along with the free sd card.

I just got this card, and it does not work at all. It will not format. It may be inexpensive, but when I really needed this card, it did not work. Buy a better card- not this one.

I bought two of these for family chirstmas gifts. I wanted to upload some pictures to personalize them before giving them away. I opened the package and spent a good two hours very frustrated because the CD would not load on either of my two IBM computers--there was some issue with the installing. I was about to give up when I starting surfing the internet for tips. I went to [...] .Go down the page and click on "Digital Photo Keychain" then clicked on the Download link next to "Install Soft ware-Zip File for Windows". After that it worked like a dream and i'm thinking of getting one for myself..pretty cool!

"UPDATE"...Perhaps this review and the current update will help others, however, the original review was yesterday and now this update continues with my progress overnight...I did get the camera up and running and would change the rating to a 4 out of 5 stars but I cannot change the stars via this edit...I ended up going to the "Logitech" site and dowloading the current drivers. I only loaded the drivers and did not use the disk that came with the camera. With just the drivers loaded I went directly to "Skype" and it works great. No glitches or problems in my first online event with this camera. I did change the mike default on "Skpye" to get the audio to acknowledge using the Logitech 9000's mike but beyond that, I had absolutely no problems...I still got the error "1719" but gave up fiddling ... This is an excellent SDHC card to have, fast and very reliable. I have used Transcend SD cards before and they are very efficient. Never had the problem of losing any data or pictures. FAIR WARNING THOUGH: MAKE SURE YOUR EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS OR IS COMPATIBLE WITH AN SDHC. READ YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL BEFORE SWITCHING TO THIS CARD. If your equipment is ONLY compatible with REGULAR SD (not SDHC), just stick with SD. Otherwise you might find out the hard way like I did. I still gave this card a 5-star because the compatibility issues was my mistake. This was compatible with my newer camera but not the card reader in my laptop and my older cameras.
